Hi everyone,
In the run up to our free Spring Update coming on April 11, as well as all the awesome stuff we’ve already shown you at PAX, we have some great news about blueprints and saving them to the Steam Workshop.
Firstly, we are increasing the maximum size of your blueprints from 2,000 pieces to 4,000 pieces! That’s DOUBLE the amount of scenery, building sets, and other pieces for you to include in your designs!
And not just that; with the new Update, you can also include flat rides AND their entrance/exit stations in your blueprints! This means that you no longer have to fiddle with ride skins and how to make them fit, and it’ll be much easier to show people who download your items where the entrance and exits queues have to connect to.
And why stop at one flat ride per blueprint? You will be able to include up to FIVE rides in one single blueprint! This allows you to save little parts of your park, which is especially cool when they’re themed. Join up your Western log flume with a Whirly Rig and a Big Wheel! Or show off your Fantasy area by saving Magic Twirls and Teacups into one blueprint. How cool is that?
Last but not least, flat rides can now be part of a multi-selection and moved around along with your scenery pieces and buildings.
Again, these changes are all part of the 1.2 Spring Update that’s going live on April 11! We can’t wait to see the even more intricate and epic designs you’re going to come up with and upload to the Steam Workshop!
