Hi everyone,

In the run up to our free Spring Update coming on April 11, as well as all the awesome stuff we’ve already shown you at PAX, we have some great news about blueprints and saving them to the Steam Workshop.

Firstly, we are increasing the maximum size of your blueprints from 2,000 pieces to 4,000 pieces! That’s DOUBLE the amount of scenery, building sets, and other pieces for you to include in your designs!

And not just that; with the new Update, you can also include flat rides AND their entrance/exit stations in your blueprints! This means that you no longer have to fiddle with ride skins and how to make them fit, and it’ll be much easier to show people who download your items where the entrance and exits queues have to connect to.

And why stop at one flat ride per blueprint? You will be able to include up to FIVE rides in one single blueprint! This allows you to save little parts of your park, which is especially cool when they’re themed. Join up your Western log flume with a Whirly Rig and a Big Wheel! Or show off your Fantasy area by saving Magic Twirls and Teacups into one blueprint. How cool is that?

Last but not least, flat rides can now be part of a multi-selection and moved around along with your scenery pieces and buildings.

Again, these changes are all part of the 1.2 Spring Update that’s going live on April 11! We can’t wait to see the even more intricate and epic designs you’re going to come up with and upload to the Steam Workshop!

4,000 piece blueprints will allow even more really awesome bigger workshop items!!!

but it would be really nice if we could save queues with them [up] maybe benches too?

Yep! Up to 5 rides (including coasters).

Cheers

Dueling Coasters!!! Yes.. Now I don't have to have two separate files per track and have the subscriber try to figure out lining them up. This is Most excellent

Now.. by chance would this mean you've added the ability to sync coasters per chance????

Excellent news!
And all about me [wink], I see they used 2 parts of my Communityville Rebooted park again in that blueprint video. Hurrah! Tilletwos, you'll spot your spooky park float which I'd used in the Teacups hedge queue.
Cannot wait for the bigger blueprint limit.

THATS AMAZING! Flatride skins can include the flatride and you dont have to try to make it fit. The entrance and exit is also nice, but how about paths? 4000 pieces is even more I could wish for, I already thought 2000 was alot. Amazing. Any news on UGC? 500 big pieces is always better optimized than 4000 small pieces.

Thanks alot and keep up the good work [up]

Awesome news!!

Especially the fact that we can save flatrides into blueprints is a very welcome update! Will be much much easyer to create ride skins now [big grin]

Excellent news.
For the mutli-selection i really hope that you include the "duplicate" and "advanced move duplicate" buttons into the multiselection ui. Always bothers me that you have ro create a blueprint to duplicate a selection.

And about paths, they're probably to complicated to be included in the blueprints, but may be they make it easier with the 1.2 update to lay paths ;) *hope hope hope*

Good question! I don't have a new build in front of me right this moment, but will ask on this. [big grin]

It was confirmed path's can't be stored as part of a blueprint. When placing seats we can only place them on path's so it would puzzle me a bit if we can save them on blueprints.
