The Official Ask Thread

Most of the forums/sites I've visited have said that 8GB is optimal for playing modern games unless you are running a variety of (intensive) applications in the background- which I do not intend to do so. To me, 16GB just seems like overkill. Right now I am at 2.1GB with Firefox running as well as downloading a video game, while my CPU is running somewhere around 21%...

We'll have to wait and see once the game gets released- alpha- then beta- and then finally the final product.

Windows for the win. [squeeeeee][squeeeeee]
Please don't start this fight. [squeeeeee]

Yeah, I have to agree. Let's not get into why OS X is better than windows.

For gaming these days, with general apps running, i am sitting at around 9GB of ram in use... and that's with no games running.

For example with Cities Skylines (it's 64bit mind you) when i play it, it chews through my system RAM like it's candy. [knockout]
Most of that ram is cached though.. The more ram you have the more the system will use for caching. Whenever that ram is needed windows should free it up.

I wouldn't mind seeing a real station floor.

2 workers on each side of the train check half of one side of each train. Split up into 4 corners for restraint check.

think this type of feature would be added?

This is a really cool idea!!! I remember wanting this for RCT3 when it came out. I think it is a possibility though because of how much animation and the different thins the park guests and staff do.

This thread is created for those questions that honestly don't need their own topic, but more of just a simple location to keep everything more organized on the forums!

This is where you ask questions such as When will Early Access come out, and much more. :D

So...When will Early Access come out?

I purchased it yesterday.

You sure?

It has been said on Facebook but on Reddit they said...

Hey guys, sorry for the confusion caused. We haven't got an official date and we're not really in a position to confirm when in March it will be.
We will obviously keep people informed as to when the Alpha will be but right now we can't give a date.

We're really happy to see so many excited people waiting at the park gates for it though and we can't wait for you to get your hands on the game.

Thanks!
Zac

We have a confirmation in the CHC that the launch of Early Access will be in the second half of March 2016, meaning after the 14th. Just to let you know, it won't be in the first half of March.

Never actually thought the first part of a month, never happens in most games anyways. Wouldn't bother me if it was pushed back a month even, (thou I would be a bit disappointed) just happy the game is being made by a team that made my favorite roller coaster game in the past. So excited to see this in the hands of experts ;)

Do have a good question thou...

Are we possibly going to see more dev diaries even after alpha is out? I really love seeing what the devs have to say in their visions and ideas for the game. Get's me personally more excited for the title each time I watch one and the response from my sharing on facebook has gotten them plenty of more exposure, people that never played a game like this are really interested in this particular title. That's awesome if you ask me, shoot I got a mom in her 60's wanting to pick it up and never played a game in her life! :)

I am ok with that Joel, I had a feeling it would be the end of the month, it gives them a few extra weeks to make sure everything is running as best for now. That date we saw in the Dev daiary for 14th March must have been the date of the press event in London.
