I second that. I don't need for everything to be THIS BIG, my eyesight is good.
Edit: if all else fails, scaling down in browser to 90% gives pretty good results.

For the moment I am not really happy with this new forum.
There are difficulties like the impossibility to change the mail of the account of the forums.
There are also connection problems.
My received warnings are also displayed when I point the mouse on my avatar and I do not see how to prevent the display.
And my avartar that was in animated GIF format does not work.
Not happy.

In the end I find this new forum rather nice.

If it helps I'm not able to see your received warnings when I mouse hover over your avatar. Unless you found out how to change it it appears only you (and maybe mods) can see your warnings.
Same here. It hurts my eyes.
The theme switcher at the bottom of the page doesn't seem to work.
There's always Stylus I guess.
I hadn't even noticed that until you drew my attention to it. It doesn't do anything here either. I was about to point out that the one under Preferences does work, but having just tried it for confirmation I can now see that it doesn't do anything either. It definitely worked a couple of days ago, changing the theme everywhere except the generic Frontier section. While experimenting I was happily reading PC forums with the ED theme and vice versa.
What a mess. I know all technical things have teething troubles, but given the long downtime and the enthusiasm for the "new and improved" forums I honestly expected them to hit the ground running and not hobbled.
Edit: a minute or two later and forum front pages are now loading with the new theme, while individual threads aren't. Something to do with that undesired caching that's also buggering up avatars, I expect. Still a mess.

Honestly the worst thing about the new forum is that despite many people making threads asking FD to make the game better (such as fixing the disappearing stars, fixing the broken commercial samples/black boxes missions, keyboard support for the PS4, getting rid of the elephant butt leather, etc) we're instead given a forum make-over that AFAIK no one asked for, and for all appearances seems to put off many people.
Completely different teams, but whatever.
I'd like some minor adjustments too (less wasted space, more visual difference for threads with new posts, just making them bold is a bit hard to read at first glance) and I get that black/white vs white/black is an issue for many.
But it's not the end of the world. Let's not exaggerate for once.
They should really lock / unsticky old news, this isn't even the latest thread about the forum update.
