No one has said Steam is the holy grail of stats. It's indicative.
Think that's an argument being made just for the sake of having an argument.
No, I'm pointing out the flaws in citing inaccurate information as "proof"
How many copies of the game sold before it was even available on Steam?
Steam charts are representative of Steam users only, not the player base as a whole.
So there is no real reason to try and use them as "proof" of anything.
When someone can't even concede that in a situation where players can own multiple accounts that a figure of 40k accounts doesn't automatically equal 40k players, because they're that entrenched in their views that they're terrified of admiting a mistake to 'the enemy', you know it's probably not worth engaging further with them. Particularly when they're building a wicker man sized strawman based on points you didnt even make in your original post.
Wow, so you defend YT polls but call me for using Mobius numbers.
That's some cognitive dissonance right there.
Anyone, for free and make an email account and vote in a YT poll.
To be a Mobius member, you need to buy the game.
One way is more honest than the other.... but you don't want to hear that, so carry on telling yourself lies.
I'd guess you know if Frontier did a real poll, you know PvP/Open Only would lose by a large amount, that's why you support the one by a YouTuber.
It suits your dishonest narrative better.
