If my previous posts were unclear, I apologize. I've said several times his outfitting choices were poor. I don't approve of them. I understand why he made those choices and in doing so seek to address the problem not the symptom. There's been further discussion in NF Discord and the wisdom is sure, a certain control method may provide an advantage but it's down to the flyer to find something comfortable that suits them.
Once he's got that I won't be surprised if he reconsiders his outfitting choices and chooses something better.
One side note: sure, the OP got a little prickly when his conclusions were challenged. That's par for the course with Elite. Let's try and give people a little more slack in the future. Big part of teaching is taking knowledge and reaching people where they are in order to create maximum impact.

You were wrong and the choice is and always was terrible.
My main point of contention was the weapon choice which you tried to hand wave as a "symptom".
I also made a point of addressing OP's hubris, which you're trying to lay at the feet of others now.
Trying to cloud the issues like that is out of character for you.
It's not the arrow and the OP's hubris was an issue from the get go.

Oh, c'mon Bob. I'm relatively plugged in with the vast majority of the XBOX PvP community. That's why I asked them their opinion after you challenged me on it and adjusted my viewpoint. If that's not good enough for you, I guess I can't help you.
