I'm off on my Journey to find Raxxla

Looks like I shall be bouncing around Mother Gaia systems for a bit ;)
Running of the Hypothesis that others have gathered.
1) The early interstellar pilots talked of Raxxla and the dark-wheel station.
2) Meaning ancient FSD travel too and from to find and get word back over specific timespan around of the space of the early colonies.
suggesting that it could be 0ly up to 200 ly from Sol.
3) It was discoverable with ED 1.0 - meaning it's not a location findable via horizons planetary surfaces, and Horizons and Beyond stations and hackable terminals.
So honks and eyes are all we got.
4) It's lying in plain sight but it might not register.
5) It's a journey, so a long haul in-system.
or that in itself is the hint, the route, to take, which is what I am following.
But I have to do economical jumps to not miss a thing and is consistent with early explorers and ship capabilities of the newly started ED1.0 ED pilots and accounts.

omphalos rift, sure it's a stone that marked the "middle" of Zeus kingdom which he called Delphi, and the Oracle lived there.
(Yes the Pleiades ).
And there is even a Delphi Chapter house in "Sol", but it's an installation that appeared post-release....(?)

I was happy to learn that the "Omphalos hypothesis" is actually the Creationist handbook, (or last thursdayism's) .
The silly idea that all of creation was indeed "manufactured" by a creator, and that all the ruins and fossils were just "placed there" on purpose, and reality is not that "old".
But in Elite, that's actually true....our Digital avatars live in a created and simulated reality......is the Rift, our computer screens?

I can't think of any subtle joke that Raxxla is some kind of Asset put into the game as a message from Gods of Elite's Universe....the Developers themselves
A portal to another world? Cambridge and meet David Braben :D
I wonder if it would be a sign like in Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy from God.
"Sorry for all the mess"

40 economic jumps to my first (of several) destinations on my Journey, all of which, are 100ly away from sol.....this is going to take some time and patience.

Raxxla?

I saw them a couple years back co-headlining with Djagged Banner at the Jalometalli festival.

I hope the OP remembered to get all his Elite ranks sorted before going in search of Raxxla?

I'm just about wrapped up in Colonia now and when I head back to the bubble I might go and have a look for Raxxla myself.
There's only something like 3 systems where it should be.

Course, I suspect it's actually in a system/location that's currently permit-locked but, tally-ho.

Much of the ground you will tread has already been surveyed. Come join this party.

We have scientist types and mythology types. Explorers, Bounty hunters and even the odd Pirate.

Everyone is welcome and all research and tinfoiling is done in the open and is available for all to see.

Which is probably why we haven't found it yet.

Well, I'm realising I may have a bit more research ahead (reading the novella) and some hard work ahead (rep grinding).
I have no Elite ranking, and a tonne of permit locked systems to unlock.
My Navi-computer might not make the necessary jumps, FDEV intended, if Raxxla it is to be found in a system between clues.
Ryder had found evidence of Raxxla after he headed out into the black.
How much the bubble has expanded since then, or how accurate is the novella depiction of the ED: Dangerous universe.
Faraway Lave's Witch-Gate is a massive....wwwhhhhhAAAAAATTTT? Multiple species and at least 17 designated sexes.

Well....it wasn't where I thought I left it ;)

As I said it's on the road, a part of the journey, between two points, two clues.
So if they give the Delphi reference, then it's halfway between earth and Delphi.

or in the Camelot (reference in the codex),
Camelot was findable, the lady in the Lake or King Arthurs resting place at Avalon was hard to find.
Curiously enough Avalonia was the name of ship and pride and joy of a certain Mr Ryder, a member of the Dark Wheel, who knew where to find Raxxla, and since Dark Wheel members indoctrinate their kids, (again codex).
Liz Ryder will also be connected to the mystery.
Half-way between her base and Avalon?
That's my logic here.

But since I'm lacking permits, my navi-computer will navigate around possible intended routes.

It's not possible to fly from one system to another without jumping.

Witch space is the loading screen for the next instance.
