Sounds like you havent seen the new revamped rebuy screen. You totally have to let me send you there dude!I haven't lost a ship since 2015, and most of the 5 losses in total I've had were my own fault for not properly addressing the situation. The only loss that I've had in the game that was environment related outside of combat was somehow getting my ship wedged inside a station the wrong way when after I had had several and the station sorted it out.
Anyway, if you play it accordingly, I'd say the game is pretty easy in terms of survivability.
I saw one of them some time back testing stuff out in a Beta. It's probably changed again since then.Sounds like you havent seen the new revamped rebuy screen. You totally have to let me send you there dude!

Then you have the explorers who act as if though nobody should touch them because of some hard luck story of having only an hour per week to play video games.
You have the gankers who try to make out they are the white knights saving us from ourselves, doing everybody a favour to become better players by ganking them.

I don’t think people’s behaviour in such games reflects their real life personas, despite what people seem to assume, else what about all those that play GTA? Do they go round stealing cars, shooting at police and running over bystanders? No. These games allow us to escape real life and live a harmless (in the grand scheme of things) online persona.
I would agree if this wasn't an issue in a PG which is a really the only point I agree with. In open, whatever. In PGs? You agree to the rules of the private group, otherwise why would they exist?
I actually had somewhat mixed feelings about this earlier on, since the rules set there were unofficial in gameplay terms, but Frontier have since decided to, in effect, officially support them to some extents. Not how I got my jollies playing the game either way though. It's too meta for my tastes and I generally only trouble with those who trouble with me in the game. Cheers.Oh, I absolutely agree with you there. I do believe that players who enter a PG should respect the rules of that PG.
Oh man, there's a new rebuy screen? I was just thinking "I've not slammed my ieagle into the side of a canyon at close to 1km/s for a few weeks"Sounds like you havent seen the new revamped rebuy screen. You totally have to let me send you there dude!

and I reiterate what I said back on page 3 - the best thing about a PvE mode would be the fact that it'd take PvE play out of the hands of groups like that.Keep in mind this event was partly run by Frontier themselves, the event was also claimed to be open to ALL players regardless of playstyle, my playstyle meant I would do the trip in open, there was no reason to remove me from their discord for the event as I broke none of their rules but the admins of that discord simply did not like me... infact I was booted while I was giving advice to others in voice.
The problem was entirely out of game... and at the end of the day they had the power to remove me from a Frontier run event and used that power to get one over on me, or so they think anyway.
For some. This game has a rebuy screen?
For some.
I am in several different PG (was in mobius as well) and never agreed to PG's rules. How do you explain that ?I would agree if this wasn't an issue in a PG which is a really the only point I agree with. In open, whatever. In PGs? In reality, the only thing i did was requesting access to a PG. Parameters, admission and enforcing specific rules is on the moderator of the PG.

"We have previously stated, and it remains true, that Frontier are not able to manage group specific rules. Players considered to be breaking these group rule sets as established by group moderators should be removed from those groups by said moderators."

Planets are remorseless killers. You say that, but I've been griefed time and again. Admittedly, it's only ever been gravity doing the griefing. And big hard planets doing the hurting.
Oh god I don't know how to fly, do I?
