QoL upgrades coming for Elite Dangerous

Fit your ship out, save it and commit to store, then insta equip it assuming the items are in your station store. Would mean you could refit your ship for specific tasks without the ball ache of having to go through every module.

Frankly, I'm pretty stunned this isn't in the game.
Players have been asking this improvement since ages.. I'm a bit pessimistic so I don't think this will ever change

Nope. Second helpings are for Powerplay.

Well that's not QoL upgrades but a complete overhaul (also long overdue) of a whole gameplay mechanic. I never tried Powerplay with all the negative comments I read about it but if FDev would deliver an overhaul I would surely try it !

Quality tutorials and pilots handbook.
It's a simple Q of L solution for those new to ED who currently have to Google for answers to find out not just how you do something but why.
I appreciate ED is an extremely complex sim and to cover everything would need a book as thick as a telephone directory, but a guide which covers the fundamentals would at least give new players a foundation to build on?

I concur.
I also noticed the past week or two while browsing hard point weapons, the fixed, gimballed and turret variants have the same icon (mostly fixed). When you pick it it tells you what kind of mount it is but the list icons don't. If you don't know this (which I didn't) you'll think a station does not have the kind of weapon mount you're looking for. First time I was about to fly to another system to see if they had them, then noticed the problem.

I don't buy weapons much since I already have several in reserve to swap out but I'm trying some new things and noticed it. Don't know if its been around long or not.

All I really like to see is stuff in my cargo to stay in my cargo. Why is it when a switch ships I have to move the stuff or sell it. Is it so hard to just keep it on the ship just like they keep my modules. Or let us store stuff in the station heck there can be storage fee's.

The current solution: Buy a 2nd ship.
That's why I have 2 Anacondas in the hangar.

- OUTFITTING : not very user friendly, we can't save specific builds and apply them quickly to a ship, stored modules management is simply non-existent...there is a lot of room for improvement.
There's a workaround for that: one ship for each build. Plus it saves the storage space. Another completely free of charge bonus: you can't complain that you don't have anything to spend your credits on.

I know its on your list, but just to say it again: I would love some tools to help navigate to coordinates on a planet...
In part, that's exactly what the new DSS does. Once a planet or moon has been probed, there is a listing of items in the left menu. Choose one, and it causes there to be a vector to target.

That's already ingame, check the Codex.

But that only works if you want to go to a known POI. I think what is being asked for is a way to go to specific co-ordinates of your choice. I'd like this as a QoL addition too - though I have got reasonably good at navigating manually due to a lot of SRV driving.
