Ok you linked me his channel. What evidence do you have of exploiting or hacking while he ganks?
According to this article, around 37%.
I sat and watched it. Not my job to run around gathering evidence. His choice to use it.
This is an important step. I don't PvP much, and if I got killed really quickly it might be because of cheating, but it could also just be a skill disparity. We all can take a view but FDev (hopefully) have stats that can establish one way or another.
Report players by all means, but we are only witnesses, FDev have to be the Judges or we'll just end up with witch-hunting.
We're talking about ED here.
If you accuse someone of cheating you really should be able to back that up with some evidence or retract the statement.
Do you think that players cheat in one game and not in another, especially in the one in which cheating isn't sanctioned?
I think you will find these guys HP, SDC, OA etc... are openly advertising these hacks in order to get something done about it, rather than using them for normal game play reasons.

Yeah it's unfortunate. I don't believe Harry cheats while he plays. He does test the odd exploit or bug out and then reports it to FDEV. He runs Premium ammo when he ganks but that is a legit feature of the game. (Although it goes against the Gentlemen's PvP Code) I personally don't have a problem with someone using it. You won't catch me running it though
No, i think that article is not relevant in this discussion.
I mean, generally speaking 1 out of 5 people is Chinese. But in my country only 1 out of 10000 is Chinese (making out numbers here)

Remember the engineering exploit from 2 years ago? I'd say 80% of the Main PvP groups lost most of their modules because of exploiting. I wouldn't be surprised if some people I know or have fought have used this "cheat engine" in the past.

I still think that article is not relevant to the cheating percentage in ED and i'm referring strictly to the Hack in OP

Yep, that's what sprang to mind.
Inventory exploit, shield regen SC exploit, premium ammo exploit, there's been many, but this issue is different, IMHO. It's a 3rd party tool that requires the user to also run cheat engine, not a bug that FD is sitting on a fix for, and the only ones who should be using it is FD so that they can patch, or improve the cheat detection in their game.
And now that it's been "outed" anyone who is seen using it, or claiming to use it should be kicked out for good. The whitehats for this is FD, and FD alone.

So your only evidence is the title of the livestream. Perhaps you could find the part you watched in one of their youtube uploads? This is what I mean by false positives, if you report based on this I would hope FDev would check their own evidence before issuing an infraction rather than just blindly trusting players that may have an ulterior motive.
