They probably don't care very much and it's just the first thing that popped into their head. Fair enough. Half of my ships don't even have names.

No one's going to think you're the business because you have a cool ship name in a computer game. It's not going to win you anything or get you laid. If you're not into roleplay then what's the big deal? 🤷‍♂️

To each his own.

I have two ships named after vessels in Buster Keaton shorts (Damfino, a clipper, and The Love Nest, a python - obviously in the original two-reelers these were sailing boats, not spacecraft). Is this horrible and/or horribly uncreative? I'd say I hope not but... I don't really care, if I'm honest.

I also have three named after trains: The Out of Town Ltd (my old cobra, named after the train Keaton built for Our Hospitality), and Puffing Billy and Wylam Dilly (a challenger and a viper respectively, the oldest surviving trains in the world, built just around the corner from where I live in 2019).

Also, an aspx named The King of Rome after a record-breaking pigeon, and a beluga called Tarquinius Super Bus which is an appalling pun on an actual (well, legendarily actual) king of Rome.

The takeaway pizza was good, just put it in the microwave/combi oven/grill, to cool down before putting in the fridge, but forgot due to intoxcating beverage intake.....

Had fur on it after 5 days.... 🤮
