That reminds me... still need to buy a T10.
The Chonky Boy Battle Cow is a true joy to fly lol
It handles like a small moon, but something about it is just fun. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Time for the Imperial Explorer
I also love the Cutter and the fact that you need to make an appointment with your brakes yesterday, if you want to brake today.
Muscle memory is one of the biggest gankers in Elite I guessThe Cutter is simply awesome. Truly the only way to properly bask. For my first docking experience in it, I used my usual technique of boosting towards the slot as soon as I dropped from supercruise, and requested docking as soon as in range. I did make it through the slot... And nearly made it out of the back of the station too, but the wall was just strong enough to stop me.
True, just a wrong move and the docking is "ducked".The Cutter is simply awesome. Truly the only way to properly bask. The Anaconda long needed a competitor but Frontier are too enamored with that damn thing to give it a proper rival and refuse to balance it properly for it's specs.
It's bar none capable of THE best jump ranges thus it can go places no other ship can around the edges and above/below the galaxy. It can also go places faster as a result too.
It's one of the three best traders when built for it, while retaining the best trading ship jump range.
It's THE BEST anti-Thargoid ship with it's freakish hull and decent shields, good for fighting against Medusa's and Hydras.
It's a good combat ship period with godly fixed hardpoint placements for PvP and gimballed if PvE.
It's got a freakishly strong hull for it's size and mass which makes it brokenly strong compared to other ships.
It also has the ability to show combat damage on it's hull, something unique to it (I don't even think the Cobra Mk3 has that, could be wrong though). Every other ship is just generic damage at best.
The Conda needs to be properly tuned and new ships need to come out.
Ideally a new Guardian-based (similar to SLF) ship needs to come out with superior jump range (as Guardians had godly FSD capabilities compared to our stuff, so a pure Guardian ship should dominate in this area) for explorers to have some new eyecandy (Center seat cockpit, none of that off to the side nonsense that ruins the view).
Said ship should as a result of being Guardian based, be superior for Anti-Thargoid combat (it can gladly suffer in human combat as a tradeoff, just make it stronger versus the bugs).
Trader ships need to be able to legit carry more and have some better hull and shielding to help push the conda further aside.
The Anaconda was meant to be, as a multipurpose ship, a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none. Instead it's a master at everything and undisputed god tier when it comes to jump range and thargoid operations. If the big 2020 update doesn't give us ships that beat it finally, or bring it down to be properly in line with everything else, I'm gonna be disappointed.
How will it break their game if they double the hull mass for the Anaconda or reduce it's hull hardness to 40 for example?Thats all very nice to say, but it not actually possible to do. The only proper way to nerf the Anaconda is properly balance the hull mass and they know they can't do that without breaking their own game in the process.
The Conda will forever be one of the top ships in the game. Thats just how its gonna be. All we can hope for is that other ships get buffed rather than the Conda getting nerfed.

Pretty much every single player in the game has either used one at one point or continues to use one to this day.
I'm not sure that's true. I bought one, flew it, and got rid of it immediately.
Which means you "used it at one point" like I said.
YUSSS! Or the Imperial Trader.

No, I flew it. It served no use whatsoever to me so I got rid of it. Flying it around for ten minutes and then selling it doesn't count as use... more like a test drive.![]()
The problem with large ships is the supercruise handling, if it handles like a dog many CMDRs simply won’t use it...
