Smashie smashie.
Arguably you could say something similar about many other ships if you just look at plane stats and ignore the reality of how they actually handle and feel.Look up the Python and the Krait Mk II on Coriolis. Only one optional internal slot and some minor ship parameters makes their load out identical. What we cannot see without max engineering both is that the Krairt will have 50 m/s more boost, 35% better shields, better maneuverability, and a little less weight.

Because it's not built around being able to have a hangar. If a fighter hanger is minimum a size 5 internal why can't any ship with a size 5 get one? Seems rather lame to me.
If FD gave people what they wanted, then every ship with a size 5 module slot would have a fighter bay.... and 5 huge hardpoints, and 20 gazillion shields and hull, and 20 utility slots and be able to jump 10000 LY.... oh, and for no extra cost.
One c4? I count 3c3 on the Krait, so it should have 3c4.Yeah, they should definitely share the love.
I demand that the Krait gets a C4 hardpoint.
I mean, the Mamba's got one so, y'know, share the love.
I would be happy if the hardpoint placement would be made a bit more convergent so you can run fixed. The Mamba is a cockpit with a huge weapon behind strapped between two massive engines and 4 further hardpoints. Where would you fit a fighter ? In a CZ a fighter is more of a liability thaan an asset anyway, and it's a CZ where the Mamba excels.

I found that I need to strictly micromanage the SLF, since even my Elite pilot gets himself killed in seconds if I let him do what he wants. And when the fighter dies, the aggro of whatever it was fighting transfers to the mothership. I do a lot better without an SLF in CZ.I'd totally disagree with that statement. My SLF is a big bonus in CZ. Helps having a deadly NPC of course.

I would never fly another ship if my Python got a SLF, lol.Same reason a python can't have one - balance.
I would, just to get away from that dreary brown cockpit.I would never fly another ship if my Python got a SLF, lol.
I like the brown, it reminds me of my old austin metro.I would, just to get away from that dreary brown cockpit.
