BUG: dashed asteroids

Hi there

I've a small graphic issue. When I enter an asteroids ring or belt, some asteroids are rendered ugly (with vertical lines). The issue affects only asteroids having the the "ring belt" in the background, I mean; if I roll/yaw in order to have an asteroid with just the stars as background (e.g. looking "outside" the ring), then the bug is not there. You can see this in the asteroid on the left, which is rendered correctly. Any suggestion? (graphic drivers already updated)

I've got this issue too, just so that you know it's not just you. I'm running on a bootcamped mac pro, with an rx580, so I expect a few issues. What's your setup?

Good to know, thanks. I've an Asus F541UV with Intel I5 7200U, running with an nVidia GeForce GT 920MX card. I also opened a ticket to Frontier's issue tracker system yesterday. Let's hope.... the problem is there from months. Did you solve it or do you still have the issue?

Had the issue too, in Options->Graphics->Quality i changed the following settings:
Anti-Aliasing: SMAA
Supersampling: 2.0x
And the problem was gone for me.

I'm not sure what you can expect them to do, it's either a result of low graphics settings (which you need to be using due to your gpu being well under minimum requirements) or you are trying to set your graphics too high for the card to handle properly, which produces the same result.

I had this problem too. It went away when I cleaned my graphics card. The fan was clogged. The GPU temperature dropped by about 10° C :)
