Notice September Update - Known Issues

I'm really new to this game... just started feeling like I was getting the hang of things. And to be quite honest... It's been one of my best gaming experiences... I got a Hotas and I'm playing on the Oculus Rift S.... I'm loving it!!!! I'm all excited because I got what I needed to perform my first modifications at the Engineer's Workshop and this happens. Is this the kind of thing I can expect from this game? I don't understand how such a horrible release was aloud... I am a Software Engineer myself... I write code for Uncle Sam.... We test our stuff before we release... and don't release it 'till it's good. It's pretty simple.
Its been like this even after long beta tests so now no beta tests i guess.

The modules bug was resolved earlier today with the server side update. Should be fine now.

Stick with it - with HOTAS and VR, you'll continue to love it as you get more into it :)

So after littery hours of exploration in deep space I have 10 arx. I wont be back to a station to sell the data for many weeks. What happened to we don't want to change the way you play the game to get arx?

Does anyone else experience long load times to while jumping both system to system as well as into and out of Supercruise? I have almost 30 seconds for super cruise and close to 45 seconds for High wake jumps. I seems to max out CPU usage for a second then goes back to normal. Using an AMD FX 8350 and gtx 980 ti.

Hi there,

Unfortunatly, these kinds of "Patch-incidents" are "standard" sigh

But nevertheless, this game is THE Experience with HOTAS and VR ( habve a "Classic" Rift myself). Please stick to the game and look over these obstacles. They will fix it, whenever they can.
Otherwise...vote with your wallet.

See you in the black,

AFAIK you will earn more Arghs...uhm...Arx...when selling the data. I would propose you want to sell it page by page to be sure not to overshoot the limit.

As I understand is: You will get Arx mainly by making transactions...like selling data...handing in Bounties or selling goods.

all that complaining might be little use as long as we continue to play the game.
way of telling FDev that we really don't like crappy releases being dumped on us is stop playing the game.
there are plenty good other games out there ...

they need to run the show and that costs. selling in game content is a very important factor, as is attracting new players, which explains some of the new features which clearly target entry level.
in any case, how to attract new players with a broken game and an unhappy community remains a mystery.
