Probably. But It doesn't matter. And it's probably best I don't have "a lot to pull". It's their job; I don't start fixing my car if the manufacturer pushed such an update (car analogy right here)
And it's not about the money but the amount of customers so it's only fair to "pull" something where other affected people can chime into and describe their experience.
Good assumption.
My question is how many items in the issue tracker stats are reports of the same issue by numerous different people.
Careful, you'll go blind.
Does what it saysermmmm on topic....how's the patch everyone?
The bug tracker would look masively bigger if they didn't fix any bugs. As to a game continuously producing bugs and not fixing all of them, welcome to online MMO style computer games. Most MMO's have long standing bugs and have bugs introduced at every update. For those saying "everybody makes mistakes" or "don't get your undies in a knot because of the latest bugs, they'll fix it", just take a look at the bug tracker, it's not only the latest mess they produced and it's definitely not just a mistake, they're continually producing bugs and just fixing a part of them.
If you say so. But the same applies to most MMO style games then.In my eyes that's a severe lack of quality ensurance.
They realy want me to spend money on their game and if it was a qualty product then I'd gladly oblige but not as long as they don't put more effort in guaranteeing said quality.
As for the landable ones, no you don't get them via bgs, unless you're fortunate enough to have one parked in a system your faction is in
Lucky you to have one anywhere in your region to take. Nearest one is nowhere near us to make a bgs takeover even a viable option. Additionally, you're the only faction I've heard of to take one via BGS, so I'll have to take your word on it with a grain of salt as I can't dispute it nor can anyone else confirm your claim either. However, this does not negate the fact that FDev played favorites on who they gave CG's for new landable megaships to, and still continue to play favorites in regards to CG's or interstellar initiatives (whatever tf they're calling them these days), or that they said "no more landable megaships for factions" immediately after handing one out to one of the blessed factions. Honestly this is getting pretty well off the topic of the point I was making, and really does nothing to address the important points raised in my original post. It's nothing more than a distraction from the main topic.Actually yes, you do. You invade the system they are in, then fight wars (or elections) to take them as an asset. The Midas wasn't ours when megaships were first put into the game, it is now and we've kept it ever since.
That sounds like the sort of mistake I'd make!I found my sensors were off that's why I couldn't dock, drrrrrrrrrrr
You might want to check the issue tracker if you have raised this issue yourself. Please fix the issue with core mining while in a wing. If you're in the same area while core mining, there is at least a 90% chance that firing the charges will either A) Arm and not show the yield bar on the top right of screen, or B) instantly detonate as soon as it hits the fissure. It is EXTREMELY annoying.
Ok, so I have had elite for only 3 weeks now, I know my opinion my not be invited, but here we go.
FDev you completely destroyed remote engineering for several days, as well as almost breaking regular engineering, making the progress on my builds grind to a halt. This is not game breaking, but it is frustrating, and prevented me from making progress. What's more fascinating is how a set of MAJOR GAME ALTERING BUGS managed to elude your testing, and were shipped with the latest major patch of your game. I'm no software dev, and I understand mistakes get made, but this is a very obvious and easy to replicate bug. Even so, once it was in, the servers should've been reverted while you guys bug squashed, I am clueless as to why this wasn't done.
It just seems like a lot of bad decisions were made, and I don't want to start with the whole ARX drama. However, I will say I was on the fence about buying skins; a couple of them look nice. Thank you for making the decision for me, I will never make a microtransaction in your game, given the quality of care displayed for your customers.
This whole update seems rushed, and it's apparent now that delay is better than a buggy release.
In the couple weeks before this, I though the FDev meme was just that, a meme. Turns out those people are right, this update was a bad joke.
If you want to respond, @ me, I am open to discussion if you have a disagreement.
