What to do about Griefers

Not going to read back through 5 pages but has anyone simply told the OP to GIT GUD, rather than GIT BLOCKING/SAFEMODE?
Station rammers only work on the lowest skilled Cmdrs or the worst fitted ships. Even at Shin, you can enter and leave with impunity, if you know the basics.
Maybe the requirements to entry to Shin are too low?

I'm the bestest most super skilled pilot in the galaxy. That's why I don't waste my time with such bottom feeders as station rammers and block them all on sight.
Only the true Elite are allowed in my game.
I agree, however emergent multiplayer gameplay are dirty words to most in ED and besides it's easier to just whine and get exploits added by the devs to avoid it completely. Block anyone? - BLOCK THEM ALL! - This is going to be hysterical.
In any case, it's futile to try to imagine is something different than it is. MP comes with concessions to make. Not all of them are good. Sometimes it's just better to stick to SP.

Is denigrating the "playstyle" of station rammers a problem? I hope not, but if it's wrong it's a wrong I'm happy to commit. To save me typing, could everyone please assume that I've already denigrated those... people... with all the unpleasant descriptions I can think of? Thanks.
Well that would depend if you think it's ok to give abuse to people playing a game and their style of play, wouldn't it?
'You hope not' - You seem to think it's OK to use derogatory abuse to players for how they play the game, seems prevalent throughout ED in my experience, ain't that right FD <wink wink>
- I'm just pointing out it happens a lot in the ED community.

Is station ramming a playstyle ?, I always though of it as being something of a character flaw.
Blocking station rammers is practically an instruction from David Braben himself :
"What would I want from a game ?, I want to be able to play a great game without being griefed by teenagers. But having said that I do want a feeling of risk out there"

You see now theres your mistake, I only agreed to what is in the EULA as did every other player of the game, obscure forum posts, obscure videos mean nothing, as no-one has to agree to any of them to be able to play the game - Long live the EULA!

What you believe has no bearing at all on what I choose to do with my games menu's.
Oh but it does, the EULA 4.4 covers it nicely.
Why would that alter what I do with my games menu ?.
Depending on what you're doing with 'your games menu' could break the terms of the EULA 4.4 - At least read it!
