Xbox One turn off

After a recent update, the game freezes and turns off my console.
It is also often impossible to get data from the server (missions, markets, etc. are not loaded)

on xbox one x (4k)

Well, not sure but I think the game just fried my Xbox One X if that makes you feel better or more reserved. I kept getting the same mission board issue and then started getting some Xbox pop up about saves. I tried restarting and now I'm getting a Start up error where I can't even do a factory reset. I'm going to have to try and do an offline update to see if that will fix it.

I've had the same issues. Usually crashes my xbox while trying to buy/sell in the commodities screen.

Alright, that does it, I'm not even going to start ED untill they fix this horrible mess.
My goodness they made a real heap of dogsh.. of this update.
Horrible screen tearing, Xbox shutting down, mission board not working, even the new Clipper shipkit makes the game crash and whatnot!!
Ugh, I just came back to playing prior to the update and now this.

Nothing like that here on One X except for screen tearing and some game stutters. Are you doing anything specific when it crashes the system? That sounds horrible, maybe consider reinstalling it just to be sure?

Try running the game in 1080p mode. I'm using it like that and haven't had this problem on my X. There is a problem with rendering (hence the performance and screen tearing issues) and that may overload the console somehow in 4K, causing it to overheat.

Sorry to hear that - XB1s here, no issues at all - but i have to admit that i haven't done more that a couple of missions since patch
Mostly spent my ingame time mining, HGE hunting or Pve Combat

I have had my xbox one x shut down several times since the update. It happens when I am in the commodities screen when I'm trying to buy mats.

Xbox One X....

I had a couple of shutdowns before the update, including one which specifically said overheating issues.

If they happen, it's soon after starting the game. Never happens later. Given how much the fans are spinning while the game starts, there's a lot of processing going on which calms down once the game is running..

Mine could be down to an Insider Xbox build, but maybe not?

EDIT: Sorry, yes I have had one shutdown post-update.
