Randomized arxe payouts and deduction during poll completion would help to stop people min-maxing it.
If people don't care about communication and a roadmap we don't need a petition to ask for it?
Sorry if that doesn't make sense, the last 51 pages have been exhausting...
What we need is Survey Lasers - we fly around the game, shooting random people. If they fire back with the 'I signed' mod then they count on one side, but if they have the 'I did not sign' they count on the other. Would need to force everyone into open to ensure Solo players aren't disadvantaged, but I'm sure fdev can fit this in as part of the new world order as specified in the OP.
Edit: Forgot - you would obviously need a 'what is happening?' laser option

That would; however, be a more accurate measure of the community and its standing on what is in the petition.
What we have is (on the open letter petition) is far closer to an echo chamber.
Which leaves the forum version the only place for people (again only a small part of the community) to voice dissent.
So what we actually have with the XXXXX number of votes is a self affirming closed letter, whether or not it is a good/bad list of concerns.
It all seems to be a way to create more division (regardless of the intent) in the community it is supposed to represent, that being the players of this game.
It's just click, honk, turn, scoop, click, honk, turn, scoop..

I think that's a fair assessment, even if I do agree with the echo-chamber on this one.
Abjectly speaking.. I think FDev does a poor job of communicating, these threads and other serve to support that.
By their own account they can't both keep us accurately abreast of all that's going on AND meet their marketing goals by injecting new blood and hype into this aging game.
Those are THEIR words. You can like this game and Fdev all you want. I do. I'm literally playing it as I type this.
But I'm not going to defend something they admit being bad at. Call a spade a spade, they do.

Yamiks nor any other content provider speaks for me. If you think this is going to affect a positivd response, then im afraid you will be disappointed. Look, if you want to get their attention, REALLY get thier attention, then try and convince everyone to stop spending money in the game. They will only respond to a lack of transactions. Crying and listing "grievances" in a post that comes across as an imitation legal document will only alienate them....look at their response....defensive, and blaming cmdrs for not understanding the process. You may have made things worse. Please, stop saying you speak for the community. We can speak for ourselves alot better with our wallets.
