Planet Zoo - Franchise Mode Feedback

Hello! I really like the game Planet Zoo Beta. I can't wait until the premiere of the game Planet Zoo.
I would love to have the creators of Planet Zoo think about the additions to create aquariums with fish.
Seals, penguins, polar bears and birds would be useful in the game.
Please think about such variants. There will be more fans of this game and buyers.
Yeah, we haven't had birds in a zoo game yet. (except penguins and peafowl) 🦜🦅🦉
I would love some expansion packs. 🐋🦈🐬
I think they should work on those small exhibits, because they are pretty bland right now. All the small animal exhibits look the same, and I can never see the animals. So I'm hoping avians won't be exhibit animals. (That would be a huge disappointment)

Is there a way for an official to have a look at the saved zoos?
It can't be that I must restart a zoo three times because the game crashes and the zoo can't be loaded anymore. I know it's a beta and it's allowed to happen once, a second time is borderline, but a third time is really too much. Come on, I paid for it, so I get to be a little angry. Most of all, I lose all my animals every time. -.-

Can you instead load the last autosave?

No, the Autosave was exactly the file that was broken. But thank you very much, your tip gave me an idea. I deleted the Autosave file and could access my saved park. I lost my lions because the last save was over 2 hours ago, but better than a complete loss.

Ok, after using my vacation to play Planet Zoo and spending over 130 hours in the game:

I love Planet Zoo.

Seriously, I haven't had so much fun in a long time. The animations of the animals are great, their AI works very well and it' s easy to see why the game is only available for PC.

Because many bugs have already been reported, I leave them out except for the obvious:

You have to solve the performance problems in any case. The graphic itself is not the problem. Even in the Goodwin Park my 1050 TI with 6 GB VRAM is only used to 30% of its capacity. The same with the CPU, which has a maximum load of 50 to 75%. You also seem to have solved the visitor problem, I had over 6K visitors in the park and stable 60 - 80 FPS in the game. With me the error appears, as soon as more than 81 animals are in my park. With 82 animals there are then only 40 FPS left and when the 100 are exceeded there are suddenly only 25 FPS left. I think the problem is somewhere at the Animal AI.

I know it's a beta and of course you're working hard to have it fixed when it's released or soon after. But we have to be honest, this beta build will probably be a Vertical Slice. So I don't think you'll be able to do it by November 05th. That's not supposed to be a bad critique now, as I mentioned, I love this game. But some buyers might get angry when it is released. :)

Now a few things that came to my mind during the game.

- It would be great if I could give the cleaners and security paths to work in. Now I assign them buildings and they always walk back and forth between those buildings. This leads me to the problem that the entrance area is not cleaned or monitored. Because I always build a forecourt at my zoos that doesn't have a shop right at the start.

- I asked myself a question about enclosure construction: What will probably require more performance? If I use the stones and materials or make caves and stone structures out of voxel? I guess the polygon stuff goes more on the GPU, while the voxel stuff goes more on the CPU, right?

- It would be great if I could research a feature where all the animals that grow up are automatically taken out of the enclosure and then into the trading center. If the park is small, it's fun if you have to separate the animals from their parents in time, but if you have a big park, it turns into work. Before the answer comes: I know you can sterilize the animals. But I want to breed on maximum values and also have my own supply of genetic material. ;)

- One very important thing: I've heard it a few times now, is it true that Planet Zoo will soon be able to store paths in blueprints?

- Will it also be possible to store buildings with shops and animal enclosures together in a blueprint? Somehow I didn't manage that in the beta. Normal buildings and enclosures work as long as I fence them in before I save them, but as soon as I have shops in them, I have to save them separately.

I think that's it now. ^^

I really appreciate the chance to try this game out. I went through the tutorial and then started playing in the franchise mode. It was working great till I could not get the conservation leaf point to show. I bought animals they had the babies and when they were adults and I trade them, they would either not sell or would sell and no leaf credits given. The same thing happen when I released to the wild. I would get the notice that they were released into the wild and no leaf credits. I managed to get 700,000 cash but could hardly get past 300 leaf credits. Every once in awhile I would get credit but not often. I love the graphics and the Idea of the game. The building function is not as smooth as Planet Coaster. I built buildings a lot. I tried adding a habitat that had a barrier with a view area that people walk into to view the Mandrills. It had a roof over the habitat and the view area. I was not able to save all of it as a blueprint because of the combo of things combined together. That would be a wish for the future.

First, I really enjoyed playing during the beta period and look forward to the full release. I'm glad you are going to try to make an offline version of the franchise mode. I'm just not really an online or multiplayer type of person but I did like the play through. What is or will be the difference between the franchise mode and the mentioned career mode?
Thanks

Thank you so much for the opportunity to take part in the Beta. This is already an incredible game and with some details ironed out will be where I spend all my free time - when I get it! I've come to Planet Zoo for the breeding mechanics as I am passionate about animal breeding, genetics and conservation. I am hoping you will show a family tree in the final version so we can better plan out breeding programs. I love Franchise mode and feel I will base my gameplay here once the breeding bugs are all sorted and your wonderful devs find the sweet spot between too many babies and not enough. I MUST say I really like how research plays a big part in breeding success, but I am hoping the issue with high fertility animals not breeding at all is addressed. I commend you for your efforts in this incredible game. Thank you again. :)

I warned my friends in another game that I may be away for a few weeks during this beta .. I'm glad to say you didn't prove me a liar. As I suspected I spent nearly every game time on this game .. to the point that it has become my 3rd most played steam game with only 2 games that I have had for years beating it. I'm sure the trend will continue once it is released. I absolutely loved the game .. despite the minimal DNA management and the noticeable differences between the different genes you do allow us to manage and the lack of breeding history which meant spreadsheet was out rofl.

Bugs aside .. they were reported, there was an annoyance that could do with a change .. can we have the option to stick the filter/sort settings on the animal trading screen because we are limited to 1 move at a time from that screen, we have to redo all the filter and sort settings for the next animal .. and rinse and repeat for however many animals of that type you were getting.

Great to know we'll have this new mode. Thanks devs!

I might have missed this information so I want to ask: will we be able to also have multiple zoos in this mode just like in franchise? (meaning we could exchange animals and conservation credits among them?)

There won't be a need for conservation credits in the Challenge Mode (offline version of the franchise mode). I would suspect that you will have the ability to create as many zoos as you wish to in that mode because you can in all the other modes (except Career mode).

Don't think the OP ever specified that it wont need conservation credits to start a new zoo.
Your sentence should say "THERE MAY NOT BE A NEED"

But as stated from the OP "This new mode will still include a full economy with both dollars and Conservation Credits, guest needs, Research, Education, animals and more all with the ability to create your zoo, with your vision from the ground up." They wouldn't need to type Conservation Credits if it was useless feature, its only useless in Sandbox.

yes it should still be the same.

Who would you acquire them from or sell the animals to to acquire them? Logic suggests that the Market will consist of animals that will be sold for cash only. It makes no sense to have both cash and conservation credits in a single player mode. If conservation credits are available in the Challenge Mode how would the market work? Would you be able to set whatever price you want (always the highest) and your animal would sell?

Please don't correct me on what I stated!! I am 100% confident that conversation credits won't be available in the single player Challenge mode (see my explanation in my previous post above).

And even if there will be conservation credits in the Challenge Mode it certainly isn't going to be the same as how they are acquired in the Franchise Mode where we will be dealing with real people in real time.

You earn conservation credits returning animals to the wild.

That will be the only feasible way in the Challenge mode. Even then it's not a great way of acquiring them (at least from what we seen during the Beta). It still doesn't justify a necessity for them in the Challenge mode.
