perhaps some elite coders read that. Here is a suggestion, a little program that can be inserted on purpose to tweak your engines sound. Why? I mean come on, when have you listened to the sound of the vulture lately. You did not? I don't blame you.
From a sound designer perspective, this is not too difficult a job to implement. It does not need to be too fancy and too complicted. You can not expect people to know how to use EQ, limiters, etc., but for starters, you could make some tests with the existing engines and thrusters and throw all of them into the mix. Basically you are looking for frequencies low, mid, high, and distortion, hence a way to allow users to mix their heart out to their individual preference. You could allow for some over saturation as well when it comes to thrusters.
