No, and the old backups that had that code on them have been submitted for physical data destruction. Additionally, the coder who wrote that code has accepted a position with EA Games and is no longer with Frontier.
Why has that been announced on Twitter before here?

People are searching for such notices regularly because of bugs in the game which should be not there (patch normally should not break further stuff
). It really would be nice to have such short notices here on official forums first. Not many of us are searching through multiple social media ... Yip. I'm thankful we have acknowledgement but as I don't have any Social Media other than Facebook I'm not sure how I'm supposed to find out if the bugs are being worked on.
That said, the thread would only get bombarded by further update requests from some of the more impatient commanders on here.

It is not hard to make: it can be done as pinned thread set as "read only" with short notices from game staff.
"Happy Monday, Commanders! We're currently hard at work on Patch 03 for the September Update..."
Not sure how much of the current mess was 'avoidable', but 'hard at work' clearing up a mess we made.....does not inspire.
Unnecessary cost and lost opportunity, some might say. Management 'action' as a result, some might expect.
Anyway good luck with the hard work. Hope it is effective this time. (luck and hope.... yeah that's the thing that's needed.....)

It has listings for the forums, Reddit, Steam, and Twitter, with the option of filtering out each of the categories if you wish
This is thread is now open for guesses about what gets inadvertently broken in patch 3. My money's on another follow up mission board issue, something engineering related, and the return of factions fighting themselves. Exploration issues will not yet be addressed. On my wish list, but not likely, are god mode NPCs and a new gold rush due to the aforementioned mission board issues.
