Destiny lore is surprisingly deep, and the scenery is just bliss IMHO. The opening is confusing now, true. Btw. after RED WAR you can start two more campaigns: Osiris (~2h, trippy) and Warmind (better, can't remember how exactly long it is but shorter than campaign). Other than that, events and side missions are fun and have voice acting.
If you like "balancing strategies" it's great!Anyone have Anno 2205? It's on sale, and I might be interested in it if it's any good.
Not much different than being a "Kick Starter" for a game that has great possibilities. ED had thousands of kick starter's as does SC. I wasn't available to be an original kick starter for either but in the past two years have spent well over 150 dollars at the Frontier store buying paints and such. So far, I've only spent 100 dollars on SC; which in both cases could be considered an investment of sorts. My condolences for your loss ;-)

Back in those days Limit Theory was on my most wanted list for upcoming space sims.I backed both on Kickstarter, along with Limit Theory (anyone remember Josh Parnell?).
Disappointed by all three sadly.
That forum is downright creepy. The Josh petting that went on there, and still continues (astonishingly), made it feel more like a cult than a community. $200,000 in backer funds must have made a nice nest egg for Josh in his new career lolol.I was looking at the site a few hours ago. Site is still up, forum is still a going concern, LT is mostly -but not completely- dead. Josh is apparently still doing stuff with it in his spare time (he's a dev for somebody else now, it seems.) Long shot, very long, but likely no worse than SC.

The learning curve involved in utilizing a keyboard and mouse is to much for me. Thus the game is pretty much on hold until I get my new Warthog stick and throttle. Then it's how the heck do I make sense of all the possible configurations. But it is something to do not so much if but when ED is messed up to play. So, do you like Star Citizen now that you have it?
