So, apparently im a Hacker now. Seems to become a common excuse.

Did some kind of Trading in Orerve for the Community Goal. Then someone with a 11 Mil Bounty interdicted me with a Conda and a quadrillion Plasmas, i stayed and fought. He missed quite a lot of his shots tho before i got the message: "your shields are hacked"

I got a message like this before when someone else interdicted me a week ago in a Vette. Is this a common excuse now? I mean, i fly a cutter max engineered. Do you expect me do die in 10 seconds just because you got a C8 PD?

Ill gladly open a Support ticket to get confirmation for you that i dont run anything that could alter any shipstats but for the Gods Sake, get yourself some Honor😞.

Alas OP, you broke the cardinal rule for these types of encounters - you fought back. You should know by now that someone with that size bounty and who is that confident in his/her/it's own abilities to use only plasmas fully expect anyone who he interdicts to immediately explode. But no, you had to not only fight back but maybe (surmising here) probably showed more combat skill than the attacker, and hence the fragile ego that surrounds him/her/it was shattered into a billion Arxs.

As the recipient of the fire you are not able to determine if the shots hit or not, due to the inherent tenth of a second lag even for good connections. It;s particularly noticeable when someone fires a beam at you, and it appears to be going quite obviously off to the side yet your shields will show the pulsing effect showing you are being hit.

Whether or not a shot hits is determined by the shooter, the damage done is determined by the recipient. When the shooter's game client registers a hit, it asks the recipient ship what its current stats are (pips, resistances, etc), calculates the appropriate damage and the recipient ship applies it.

As for the rest, I dunno, salt farmed? If you're not cheating who cares what poo tier gankers say?

NOOP.

Ah, I see.Thanks.

Funny thing is, while I won't deny I play in all modes depending on location/mood and will switch to Solo for certain situations, it just wasn't the case in that instance. I guess they were just upset they couldn't touch my trade Cutter in their slow Corvette during several consecutive interdictions I submitted to. At one point I just got annoyed and went to the other CG system for delivery instead. It also didn't help that I came back in my Courier afterwards to return the favour...
