Good luck with that, give it 60 seconds or so and your booted back to the menu with the usual "Cannot connect to server" message. Its like the game is dangling a beautiful, delicious cake in front of you. Then when you take a bite it snatches it away and shouts "SCREW YOU"

I've tried, but it hasn't helped. Checked in case I had an old launcher but seems to be OK. I still get the error that the game is too old.

Just out of curiosity - do you need logs and additional data for "disconnect when jumping between systems" bug? Or it is known issue and fix being worked on?
The same regarding missing starfield. Galaxy picture is fixed for me (but I hear other people having problems still).
Whooooa there horsey! It just means it connects to the server eventually, not that you can get in to the game. You then have to dodge the quick appearance of a sidey>black screen error, then the spinning sidey>could not connect to server message.
Then and only then may you see the game and for how long is anyones guess
I re-installed the whole thing, even re-downloaded the installer, here it does not.
i would say it is more like conincidence i got in and then got kicked out and get the TOO OLD message again.

Germany calling! No joy with Beta2 so far..
Just got home and downloaded Beta 2.01 but can't start the game. The first error I got was 'disconnected from server'. Now the game I just get a blank black screen with music playing... I've tried changing the screen resolution that one chap recommended but this did not work for me. I guess you have to expect these things with the game being a Beta, after all that's why we're here, to test

I wont repeat what most people are reporting Ill just add to it.
Leaving the client alone with a red START and launcher too old message it sorts itself out for me after a few minutes of leaving it alone.
I then hit START that magicaly turns white and I get failed to connect to server please go back to launcher. The START is now red but I am still connected to the server 54247.151.35.19364

I could occasionally log into beta 2.0. With 2.0.1 for the past hour all I get is a spinning ship.
Solo play *always* displays an error message that it cannto connect to server on the first try after the launch. Second attempt no error message, but eternal spinning ship.
Both group and open play, I just get the spinning ship.
