Please don't correct me on what I stated!! I am 100% confident that conversation credits won't be available in the single player Challenge mode (see my explanation in my previous post above).
And even if there will be conservation credits in the Challenge Mode it certainly isn't going to be the same as how they are acquired in the Franchise Mode where we will be dealing with real people in real time.
Without any new announcement about this new mode, how are you 100% confident there won't be CC.This all-new, currently unnamed, mode will allow you to enjoy much of the Franchise experience, without the online requirements.
This new mode will still include a full economy with both dollars and Conservation Credits, guest needs, Research, Education, animals and more all with the ability to create your zoo, with your vision from the ground up. Naturally, with this being an offline game mode, there are certain features that will only be available in Franchise Mode. These include: Trading between players, Leaderboards zoos and Community Challenges.
Considering that the dev post says that there will be CC in the offline franchise mode I don't think we should count them out just yet. I guess we'll find out soon enough![]()

You may be confident, but you are still wrong nevertheless. The current dev diary clearly says there are CC. They will be used to buy better animals.
Ok, I have some doubt. But that doesn't change my mind about it being logical that they would be in the Challenge mode. It seems like an unnecessary headache for them to be in that mode, IMHO.
The entire point of "Offline franchise" is for it to be like franchise, but offline. That's why it will still have conservation credits, since it allows you to have a common currency between multiple saves. You simply won't get them from trading, instead from elsewhere, like releasing animals to the wild. All while retaining the properties of Franchise.Fair enough.

What makes challenge mode a challenge then. You think cash is enough as a challenge?
As from the OP, it's Franchise mode without any of the online elements. That's it.
They still want to promote conservation using conservation credits.

As meimento said "without any online elements". It's logical that community goals and online trading isn't in the challenge mode, as these logical require a contact to a server.
And we were talking about Conservation Credit. I really don't get why you persists that somethiing might have changed and the Dev is suddenly wrong now, instead of simply saying "oh, didn't readt that. Wonder for what CC will be then."
You see not mentioning CC now as an evidence that they were scratched instead ot taking in consideration that they just didn't mention the feature AGAIN.
Enrichment wasn't mention as well - does that mean now we wonÄt get enrichment items in challange mode? And OMG, they didn't say we can unlock all animals in franchise and chalange mode. I bet we only get elephants and lions.![]()
Fair enough.

I've already stated that I "have some doubt", in case you missed my stating so. The reason why I now have some doubt is in part due to what was written by the OP of this thread and the fact, with further thought and consideration, that it might create issues if the conservation credits were removed from that mode of the game. Although there still might have been the need to rewrite some of the coding because of the market.
Just to note, this thread was started on September 27th. As unlikely as it might be, that means there is ample time for the dev's to have changed their minds. We won't know for certain until Nov 5th.
Of course we will have Conservation Credits in offline Franchise Mode. It even says so in the OP.
What I wonder is, can I switch with one single park between on- and offline Franchise Mode, and not have seperate franchises for that.
That was my initial point. And I can't believe such a simple question led to all this hassleHowever, what I'd like to know is, if our zoos will be connected with each other in challenge mode, just like in franchise. Was that already said somewhere?

In theory, it should be just like Franchise in that regard (multiple zoos within the same 'company', all sharing animals and CC), but it hasn't really been clarified yet.
I already answered it back herehttps://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/planet-zoo-franchise-mode-feedback.523950/page-5#post-8098127
They said its franchise zoo, without the online portion. hence the functionality of the franchise is still exactly the same.Do you know if they said in anywhere? Or do you just assume? I assume as well, but am a bit cautios on this one, actually.
