Although I take my time with killing them, they don't seem to turn the tide. At least not if you're quick killing the regular foes. Then your allies can also focus on the spec ops, allowing you to kill them more swiftly.

As a general rule, I'd say "kill the easy targets first, that's the quickest firepower decrease you can get those foes".
The effect is more noticable when it's an unanswered spec ops spawn. It's not a personal challenge factor, it's an instance factor... spec ops mow down non-spec ops ships as they often operate in a wing.

They are well engineered and often carry enzyme missiles. On them they're very effective. Opposing NPC ships just bleed to death rapidly. Also try to mop up spec ops beta to delta first. Those are left to fight on their own. If you go for spec ops Alpha first, the wing ships will come to it's aid. Sometimes you have no other choice. That is when spec ops Alpha picks you as target. Ignoring that is not healthy.

Very useful info, I've done countless CZs and didn't notice they came Alpha to Delta. That explains a lot now, mostly why sometimes when I'd pick out a Spec Ops separated from the others, the others would turn on me straight away. I must've had the Alpha targeted. I wonder if taking out the Alpha puts the Beta in charge and the remaining Spec Ops come to its aid as though it's the Alpha?

The battle ends quicker if you take the Spec Ops out early. I've noticed the progress bars tend to increase equally until Spec Ops are destroyed. If you're only interested in collecting bonds for the CG then I'd agree to completely ignore them until they become the highest threat.

Me... I enjoy the fight.

Wow that's useful for sure.

Thanks :)

Tonight i'll try that.

Yup that's what's asked from me, so that's what I do :p

Well killing the spec ops is also asked from me, but as a mercenary, I go for cash first, then for challenge. Allies even call me "civilian" when I FF them :D

Should not have left PS4 Grass is not alllways greener on PC match making servers...
I switched to a PG (Mobius) last night and this fixed most of the issues I was experiencing. Strange, that... It must have something to do with defunct instances in crowded Open causing CZs to get stuck? Who knows. At least I proved that there IS life in Mobius - all three of us, LOL.

I was already in Mobius when I had spawning issues. There was only one other player present, so I guess not an instancing issue?

I dunno... I went in and out of a CZ multiple times, empty. Logged out and back in, empty. Switched modes - working as intended! No other glitches either.

Maybe it's something broken with Europe. :p I'm in Mobius PVE America.

Yeah I'm in EU. If it happens again I'll try switching modes.

Yep BGS is disabled for ALL CG CZ combat... there is no tick for CG CZ.. as normal this is an artifical Fdev started war or CG event war, BGS does not run it..
Well... with another tick of no change... I'm more convinced now that this is right... again, don't actually understand why since other conflict CGs had it run without issue, even when the shortcut mechanics were in place.

Still... what an utter joke.

Yep The last II CG CZ had tick disabled to insure the conflict zones stay up all six days... the first to 4 days wins to win was disabled as there was no tick counting the wins..
Conflict zones don't move or change status ether... they are also fixed locations in the II CGs as wellfor the hole 6 days...

No High conflict zone for this CG has the side effect of reducing the capital ship and corvettes helping with getting kills... Im only in top 10% but have only ever seen 1 single AI corvette the hole time playing this CG still... so the best help available to speed up kills are pythons or if spec ops spawn on your side... Or if easy kill Fox news turns up... but not adding High conflict zone is a planned slow down of this CG...

It's not a conflict when the other side has it's hands tied.

It's not a conflict when only one side turns up! Which is what's happening again tonight.

If it's because there are so many cmdrs in the same instance, FDev didn't think this CG through very well.
