You think I'm a man? Now that's a disappointment girlfriend. You're not the man I thought you were, Globusdiablo![]()
Mgsv was awesome, too bad they cut kojima off earlyI'm willing to give it a try based on the strength of Metal Gear V, which I think is awesome. I haven't watched/read any reviews so I haven't the foggiest what people are saying, but I rarely use them to make pre-purchase decisions anyway.
In doggy parlance: I assumed you were a Pointer when in reality you're a Setter? You think I'm a man? Now that's a disappointment girlfriend.![]()
You're babbling Jason. But you didn't respond to my question. Do you FOB/PF?In doggy parlance: I assumed you were a Pointer when in reality you're a Setter?
Sorry for misgendering you.
Wait, what? When did you ask me that? And what is the question anyway? You're babbling Jason. But you didn't respond to my question. Do you FOB/PF?

My bad. You said that you thought MGS5 was awesome, so I assumed that you would partake in the "PvP" elements of said game.Wait, what? When did you ask me that? And what is the question anyway?
Ah, I missed that earlier. Not really. When I played it I tried to keep it solo play as much as the game would allow. It looked fun, but I wasn't particularly keen on the idea of my bases being fair game even when I wasn't playing, and because of work/family constraints my time was very sporadic so I couldn't really engage it consistently. Now that you mention it though, I'm actually starting to get the urge to start a new playthrough and really delve into that aspect. I usually have some slow time around the first of the year, so maybe I'll give it a whirl.go back a couple of posts. I'll wait.
Ok. You've been missing out my friend. It's the MGSV that you play after you've played the main story.Ah, I missed that earlier. Not really. That sounds like fun when you put it that way. Now I'm definitely going to start another play through and give that a shot!Ok. You've been missing out my friend. It's the MGSV that you play after you've played the main story.Don't worry about taking damage, it's easy to get back, either via infiltration of other player FOBs, or the NPC FOBs (no retaliation). I've sunken over 1000 hours into the "grind" that is developing my base security and items, and invading FOBs.
Some say it's an aquired taste, but if you like the gameplay mechanics of MGS5 and enjoy PvP as I know you do, I think you might get a kick out of the PvP meta.
I'd love to hear what you think if you give it a whirl. But take your time, it's a whole other game.![]()
Let me know what you think. There are a lot still playing. Feel free to invade my FOBs! You'll know my name when you see it. Just look for "earth devil".That sounds like fun when you put it that way. Now I'm definitely going to start another play through and give that a shot!
