@Bigmaec
I'm sorry, but its far too much coincidence that Erin Grey is on the ship......an actress called Erin Gray is Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers from the 25th century...
That, and we were discussing all things lip gloss here not so long ago....
ANNOUNCEMENT - Gamescom Reveals - Fleet Carrier Details
Currently Adam finds himself on a different pad when he logs in or a different instance on the same pad, I have often landed at the front of the station to find myself launching from the back of the station when I log in again. I have also sat waiting for the pad on a megaship looking at the...forums.frontier.co.uk
Is this Erins face? If we go on board is it going to be super retro 80s sci fi?

Perhaps. Though if any additional asset were added to the game for that - like a Rescue Megaship, for example - wouldn't it have to have been added this morning?Maybe we will see another update for Tues?
The game doesn't support mechanics to nuke the thing. So of course, that's what they do.
maybe we can drop a ton of meta alloys around it, give them some escape pods and ring the dinner bell for our flower-shaped friends.
if we’re lucky the plague can jump species and we can solve both problems.
If the CG were "rescue survivors" vs. "Prevent infected carriers from reaching inhabited locations" would you snuff the germ bags or spread the disease? I'd snuff them.
Give weekend commanders time to check it out and read the logs. Maybe next Thurs would see something. They don't need to rush this, because the previous II has only just finished.Perhaps. Yeah, what happened to them?Well let's hope the story-writers make something of this, rather than fizzling out in the manner of the 'new Thargoid variant' at Palin's old base.
That makes sense.Give weekend commanders time to check it out and read the logs. Maybe next Thurs would see something. They don't need to rush this, because the previous II has only just finished.
With so few people in a tightly closed environment for 1000 years, say 50 generations I'd expect more unique colloquialisms and a single, distinct accent. Not people who sound like they're from several different 21st Century cities. The audio adds to the experience, but FDev needs to do some rethinking.I think in 1000 years, the language would have evolved.
Wait! How did this zombie escape?Spent 1,000 years in a sardine can to hopefully preserve the human race, only to find out that humanity survived and in the interim turned into a bunch of time-travelling psychopaths that shoot anything and everything that moves (and even rocks that don't move). Disappointed must be an understatement.
“Unaware of what year it was, Joe wandered the streets desperate for help. But the English language had deteriorated into a hybrid of hillbilly, valleygirl, inner-city slang and various grunts. Joe was able to understand them, but when he spoke in an ordinary voice he sounded pompous and gy to them.”I think in 1000 years, the language would have evolved.
Question: If they've been drifting on slow drives, how did they suddenly appear near a planet?
Galnet lead in to the Scourge narrative went on for a bit [ARX.1/.2 fix] before anything happened...Give weekend commanders time to check it out and read the logs. Maybe next Thurs would see something. They don't need to rush this, because the previous II has only just finished.
Nothing like that showed up in Contacts.Did it have anything that looked like escape pod bays to do azombieprisonersurvivor transfer?
