Believe me, Stuart, I’m moving on, but some moments are unforgettable. :)
 
Honestly, I'm glad FDev are addressing the known issues and bugs and that is their main focus because every update released new bugs and issues. Sure, I'm disappointed about fleet carriers delayed and other amazing features but I estimate that releasing the fleet carriers first before addressing bugs would affect the gameplay of Elite Dangerous.
 
Please, fix the issues on the in-game menu tabs:
  • Pressing "1" for left side menu, sometimes it softlocks... unable to move select bar;
  • Pressing "3" for down menu (SRV/SLF)... clicking it makes select bar skiping at random;
  • Pressing "4" for the right side panel... takes a long time to update info and attempting to use several functions fast makes it freeze, turning it unaccessiblefor quite some time.
 
I'd like to know when FD are going to fix my old PC.
I've been banging on about this glaring bug for years, yet no one at FD is listening to my whining about being unable to play on highest detail without causing a nuclear meltdown in my living room.

Maybe you guys should develop a research station which could only build on planet by player.Then why?It's because we may need some place to fitting、repair our mega ship or even build some ships.(If you feel interesting,keep looking.)
So,how to build personal station?We first employ construction npc to build station module such as control center、power plant... and some no player character to management your station and market.
After all,let's talk about module.The first one is control center,most important part which your employee work and enable your contact.
the second one is power plant,even year 3305 solar energy could not be the main way to generate power,it will just decrease the "energy brick"consume.still have others like weapon part、cargo section、oil storage、shield generate、residence...
But why call research station,why don't we call it industry station?It's because sometimes your station will attract scientist,who can make devise to increase human our module ability.
That's all,hope you like it.

This is an interesting idea, however, I'm afraid at the moment it is too complicated for FDev. At least, I would not count on the fact that they will be able to realize this ever in the elite.
 
Well, I watched the presentation of many interesting projects on e3 and gamescom this year, I watched the chic blizzard presentation on blizzcon, I watched the excellent Chris Roberts performance at Citizencon, and in each of these cases I was amazed and inspired by how enormous all of them did the work, and what impressive results they achieved.
And so, I again go into this topic and again see this message that says that FDev can’t just not share anything specific about their new era (for fanboys the words fdev about how everything will be cool in this new era is not specifics, she never was and never will be)
But even with at least some details about fleet Carriers (because if something is all the information on them, then this is a failure (However, I know, Of course, there will be no new mechanics or gameplay associated with fleet Carriers).
Remembering also that ice planets are not even remembered in messages.
I involuntarily catch myself on the fact that I not just do not want to spend money in the frontier store (I do not recommend anyone to do this, in fact), but just go into the game.
 
Shame about FC delay, but thanks for the communication. Players always criticise FD for lack of transparency, so it's nice to get a heads up, even if it's not the news we wanted.
 
Hello Frontier!

I'm a new player and after reading this ENTIRE post from page 1-13 i hope come that on January 6th you guys can show us some snippets of the updates that are coming mid/late 2020 that would make ALOT of the player base at ease...

And as a new player Fleet Carriers don't really effect me, adding them would be nice for veteran players but adding 1 ship into the game doesn't add a lot of game play with it everything you can do with the carrier that's been announced you can do with a regular ship (except for that part about jumping and being able to dock ships on it) i just feel like this game is missing ALOT of core things that a space game like ELITE should have the world is pretty empty has factions but you never literally see anyone unless their AI on a ship the planets should be populated there should be NPCs in the shipyard I should be able to leave my ship and walk around ETC ETC i can go on forever... either way i still LOVE ED and i will still play it but we need you guys to be more vocal about what you're working on and what you plan to add to the game surprising us is fine but after so many years i can see that just isn't the way anymore.
