Hippo Conundrum

So I thought the radius thing was my problem but it wasn't. I now have two water stations both close enough to the water that they never lose range of it, yet the water still randomly goes between clean and not back and forth. And there is no poop, as I've removed the water and checked several times.

Weird. That's the other problem I've seen people mention. I don't remember any of these things happening during the beta. Aside from the death lake in scenario five, I've still been lucky so far (but I also haven't had much time to play recently ).

When you click on the water heat map does it show that it's being cleaned? In green? What happened to me is it always showed that it was being cleaned, but just continuously got dirtier. It just never got clean.

Like I said the only thing that solved it for me was rebuilding the exhibit elsewhere.

One guess I had was at one point it said that the space was slightly too small for the animals I had in the enclosure. I wondered if because space was an issue it was just too much yuck in too small of a space and the water filtration couldn't keep up?

It alternates between green and blue back and forth seemingly randomly.

I gave up and removed it and put in water dishes. But now my African Plains habitat looks stupid without any water in it.

This happened to me. I ended up selling my hippos because even moving them to a new part of the map did not help.

I’m not sure if the water in a hippo enclosure becoming dirty all the time is by design or a bug but it was quite frustrating. I even added multiple treatment facilities right next to the habitat thinking maybe they needed more than one since there is so much water needed. But to not avail. I would get a low welfare notification about every three minutes. So I Just gave up on them sadly
