ANNOUNCEMENT Jurassic World Evolution: Return to Jurassic Park + Free Update 1.12 Coming 10 December

Yeah I think that's the beauty of games like this, it's like painting a picture - if you start off with a blank canvas you can be very creative even with limited tools and as you gain more tools you can add more flair and layers to create something even better. With the improved save slots from the last big update we can make as many different styles of parks as we want :)

The plant is supposed to look after the one in TLW

I know that, what I refer to as the Visitor Compound are the Visitor Center, trees and pond; it's based on what we see in the first movie.

Guys, isn't that supposed to be part of the fun of playing a game like this? To build (cos it's a 'builder' game) our own versions of what we think JP or JW might have really been like? Rather than have the devs do it for us? Ironically the existing Nublar map we already have is the right shape when you compare it to many maps of the 93' park published by fan media..... so with all the new legacy content we can build a pretty authentic JP on there with more accurate proportions if you're willing to take the time. I'm definitely gonna enjoy attempting that and would be gutted if the devs already did it for me!!

Yes, it is part of the fun playing a game like JWE! After the DLC's campaign is completed, I plan to recreate the original park on the new Isla Nublar map. But it’s not going to be a recreation of the park as it was in the 1993 Incident or had it opened in 1994.

Instead, my version of Jurassic Park will be what it would have been like had it been successfully operating for 5 years and thus will feature new dinosaurs as well as general improvements to the park's design.

So in the last videos from return to jurassic park, there were only 11 species you can breed. What about the profile screen in the species profile trailer. It seems to look that there are 16 different kind of species for your park. Lets hope that maybe a third yet unknown dinosaur species will come along the roster with compsognathus and pteranodon.

I'm very excited about the new map of isla sorna
I hope there will be iconic buildings but what I have heard is probably not ...
Do you know anything about the new map sorna?

hopefully let's see the Workers Compound and Laboratories o_O

The Nublar JP they've shown on those videos also doesn't look nothing like JP either. Wrong fence layout, wrong distances, wrong Visitor's Center' landscaping, really wrong Gates placement and surroundings. I wouldn't put my hopes that high...
Might I suggest you remove the nostalgia goggles? Okay? So the layout is not faithful. If it was, we’d need at least a third of Nublar according to the Control Room map in the first film. As we know, our maps have limitations.

We’re getting pteranodons and their aviary as well as compsognathus, two creatures that have been highly requested by fans. Alongside that we are getting Jurassic Park assets, two new maps, seven story missions and a free update all in the space of one day.

I liked the original Sorna we were given, made for an interesting park layout and I don’t mind the lack of faithful layout. Means I get to put my spin on it.

Needless to say, I’m great full for all of the content we are been provided with. Negativity is beginning to get a bit old now.

Besides the unforgivable lack of long grass.

Criticism, however, is necessary - even if most of it should come post-release or only about stuff we know for certain, not speculation.

I completely agree. Criticism is how things improve but nostalgia goggles tend to make people close minded to change. In the case of the person I was responding to, there was a bit of negativity what with him advising us not to have hope for Sorna. It’s one thing to criticise, it’s another to be negative when we’ve not had the opportunity to see Sorna and what we do know is based on a scant few individuals experiences of it.
