Predictions for next DLC

Title says it all. Now that we've had the first Planet Zoo DLC and we know what content is included in it, I wonder what you people think will be the theme for the next one and approximate release date.

I'm not too optimistic about the acclaimed 'Aviaries+small animals DLC' and 'Marine DLC' ever happening (at least not soon) due to the effort it would take to make those. So I'm inclined to think there's a very high chance of the next DLC being 'Australia'. There wouldn't be many major changes to the game mechanics nor animals motion besides polishing the jumping animations, which already needs to be done anyway.
Unlike the Arctic pack, a potential Australia pack should include many more animals (red kangaroo, koala, wombat, emu, cassowary, tree kangaroo, dingo, tiger quoll, brushtail possum, echidna, tasmanian devil, 1-2 species of wallaby or pademelon) and foliage, to the detriment of a new building theme and scenery pieces. Platypus could also be added but it'd be lame as it wouldn't have diving animations.

My guess is we'll get the next DLC in April and the price will remain the same or increased to 15 $/€.

What's your opinion?

I was sure Australia was going to be the first DLC! My assumption would be a larger pack with more animals too, although I imagine at least some scenery pieces of aboriginal sculpture/rock art etc would be included too (not sure if there's enough milage for a full construction pack there, although an 'outback' style rough tin shack kind of look could have a lot of utility for some themes - I know it would have helped me with one of my builds!)
I would think red/grey kangaroo would be a given, and a wallaby for walkthrough habitats, one of the ratites (although both would be great!), a wombat and Tasmanian devil at least. Koala would be cool, but it might be a bit weird if it spends most of its time on the ground, as a lot of supposedly arboreal animals do in this game.

Australia would be an awesome DLC. So many unique, cool animals down under and they haven't really leveraged that continent yet, despite it being selectable for zoo location.

The Australia section of my favorite zoo here in germany uses a lot of old barrels, car wrecks, tin and things like that. I'd love something like that.A bit of grunge, rust, things that are altered y the weather and hot sun. (Dear Aussies, I just say what we have in Zoo Hannover, I'm not saying your outback is full of trash. Please don't get me wrong.)

I think Marine, when and if it comes will have to be more than DLC, probably a full on expansion, which I will pay for... As for the next one, I do like the idea of Australian mentioned here several times

This was my list from the last thread back at launch (I'd like to see a Sahara DLC):
  • Polar: Polar bear, penguins, musk ox, caribou, arctic fox
  • Rainforest: Jaguar (panther), malayan tapir, ruffed lemur, giant anteater, sloth, giant otter, babirusa, capybara
  • Savanna: Leopard, meerkat, blackbuck, kudu, black/white rhino, ethiopian/maned wolf, rothschild's/masai giraffe, serval, przewalski's horse, dik-dik, wild donkey, grévy's zebra
  • Sahara: Scimitar horned oryx, addax, dromedary camel, fennec fox
  • Australia: Kangaroo, platypus, koala, echidna, wombat, emu
  • Europe: Red fox, eurasian lynx, moose/elk, otter, beaver, alpine ibex, chamois, some species of deer

I suspect they'll save penguins for next year's Christmas DLC, but who knows - they could always be part of a South American or African DLC.

We got asian, african and american animals, what we miss most so far are european and south american animals, so I hope we get them next.

I predict we will have another DLC. And it will be good again.

Apart from that pure guess work and could list maybe 15 different ones and make a case for them all. Yes I am in a cheery mood today :)

A "Down Under DLC" would most likely happen for sure, there's just too much in one place for them not to add that. I would love to see some type of aquarium DLC as it's one of my favorite places to go -- but I would want them to do it right, and do their homework and not give us a Seaworld DLC. NO SHOWS. This is a conservation game, there can be awesome interactions and other experiences but please, none of the trained animal stuff. Go just watch them and enjoy and learn. If you want shows go back to Roller Coaster Tycoon expansions, respectfully! That being said, if it was large and done awesome I would also pay $35ish for this DLC.

Aside from that, I also predict some type of aviary DLC that adds birds and the like with walk-in experiences for things like butterflies. Possibly some type of "Endangered" DLC for more of that stuff.

P.S. -- Please, no extinct DLC either.

Edit P.P.S. -- My sister is a Veterinarian, and thought it would be cool if they respected some of the food animals out there as a lot of people never actually get to see them around where they live. I know Zoos around where I live have things like Texas longhorns and examples of what cattle/dairy farms are like. While about conservation, these animals need the same treatment. Just an idea!

I'm hoping the future DLC will offer more variation and choice so that we can decide which we want to spend our hard earned cash on (or all of them of course!). The Arctic DLC is OK, but it's a sort of mish-mash of new building pieces, a new theme and new animals. Personally I'd prefer more granular packages, e.g. a new construction set or theme for the builders, or a set of related animals, or a new theme, or a set of pretty blueprints for those that are less construction orientated, etc. Of course that's just me!

I like the Australia section here, too.
Those wrecks are common in the outback.
Some scenery/ metal shed building pieces should be included as well as the famous roadsigns.
And please add the QUOKKA!
Maybe sugargliders and bilbies in exhibits...
Birds?

If not an Australian pack, I think we'll get South America next.
South America pack will include Mayan/Incan themed building set, jaguar, giant anteater, capibara, rhea and guanaco/vicuna/llama/alpaca

The 10 usd is a good price point for dlc. Let's keep it there please. The dlc should stick to animals and scenery. Every 3 months like Planet Coaster is acceptable for dlc releases. Too much dlc turns players away, so a happy balance needs to be met. Giving players free content (scenery, animals) every now and then through game patches is a good idea. New features should come in free content patches.

March is spring, so I'll make an educated guess and say we'll be getting spring themed animals; probably taiga/temperate/grasslands stuff. The one animal that I can think of right now that seems to come up all the time, at least from my perspective, is Fox. So we'll be getting some kind of fox is my prediction.

I don’t really care what we get next also. I do feel there’s animals we definitely need tho like birds a bald eagle is a must imo also a shoebill or marabou stork would be nice. There’s Australian and South American dlc also. Then meerkats baboons monkeys a African species of rhino also. I know some people don’t like subspecies but a Sumatran tiger or asiatic lion would be great too.
