Because bikes are fricken cool, and there's not enough variation in ground transportation in the game. There's always room for the Doctor's Dangle and Marquez's Elbow in games.

As a rider I should be all for this... but those look rubbish. If E: D did glean to provide us with two wheeled rides I'd hope they'd be more like space-ified versions of Dakar bikes. Read; faster, lighter, and more nimble than an SRV. Something you could use to turn a canyon into a skate park.

Once Atmospheric Landings gets added I could see a big ol' cruiser being a great way to do a bit of sight seeing. Aesthetically though I'd still much rather it looked more functional, something like this (even as a trike or quad). Re-enforce the swingarm's, fatten the tires, and have the wheels fold away like the SRV and we're in business.I can see your style clear
