how I would like these two sentences to be interconnected.
however, why do I have the feeling that you will not even mention fleet carriers or the "new era"?

For me, its clear that the statement is NOT, "we will talk about FC and the new ERA" but just come to join us in the first 2020 lets play video...., a video with news about FC would be announced as news on FC and not "lets play", and the announcement about news+timing on the NEW ERA was clear - we will get info after release of FC, around summer 2020.

I just wanted to point out that the wording can be understood wrong, and should be clearer to avoid misundestanding.

for this reason, I’m not making any announcements in my community yet.
though.
I don’t want to disappoint people, for them, 2019 was one complete disappointment, at least with regard to the elite.
it would be very nice if one of you contacted community managers fdev and asked for clarification. because what is written in the first post looks too incomprehensible.

Some actual real info on what the New Era and the future of Elite will contain would be incredibly positive news. Please do not make it an announcement of a later announcement, its past time for some tangible information to look forward to and discuss while we wait an entire year for the update.

You don't need to be so super secretive Frontier, please include your loyal community in on the future of the game.

I have none of them, I'm not on any social media at all, so I guess that's me out then. Thanks for that.

Oh and whilst I'm whinging (let's face it, I was never going to win anyway), why on earth would a UK based company ask for date of birth in the American mm/dd/yyyy format? how crap is that?!

I have to ask - what does the 'Guardian excavation hub' bit refer to? I've been to the sites, got the Guardian tech unlocked, but I've not seen any excavation. Am I missing, or misinterpreting something?
