if anyone see's 'Iain Segger' i would appreciate a screenshot, named for a mate of mine who passed away a few months ago, FD very kindly broke the rules and allowed me to change my NPC name to his.

I saw a team that made me giggle.

While warping I come across "Swiss Mercenary" in a type 6 escorted by two cobras at his sides. On the left there was "Strangely Brown" and on the left was some guys real name.

Well, My Dad died two years ago so when I bought this game I put him down as an NPC so he can fly around in my elite universe - hoping to bump into him one day.

Give me a shout if anyone see's Tony Whitfield ;-)

My father past away six years ago. So to honour him I used his middle name as my in-game character.

Definitely an NPC. Some people entered their forum, real or ingame name as an NPC name, too.

I saw a "Jim Clarke" the motor racing living legend.

I came across Wedge Antilles and Carl Sagan earlier. Killed Carl Sagan for a nice bounty but Wedge Antilles escaped sadly.

@Havoc. Wedge has a habit of escaping close calls, if I remember the X-Wing series of books correctly.

In terms of NPCs I've seen myself, two that stood out were Karl Marx & Jayne Cob.

Jayne, while rated Dangerous which seems right, was also reported as Clean, which seems a bit doubtful
