Careful, you'll be labelled as a fud flinger!
Every time someone calls me out on Spectrum I just post a picture of some of my cows...unfortunately, I don't at present have any sheep which would be a little more on point :D

One comment, quite a while ago now and on the old forum, that got me significant up votes and the history behind the cow pics was after one of the Star Citizen faithful called me a pointless know it all just after popularity votes... I replied that I viewed most of the faithful like him just like I do my cows... for the majority of their boring lives they're all content and docile, happily munching away on their own little patch of grass with the feeling of security that comes when nothing ever changes.

Then one day, the big truck to take them to market turns up and they all stampede around crapping themselves, tails in the air and mooing in abject panic.. until someone like me turns up with a pointy stick to move them in the required direction ;)

An interesting bug has been found...and mentioned on the #SC testing chat section of Spectrum in that using a coffee machine, you can spawn almost any game item including weapons, hair styles and a variety of other stuff.

I had to test it of course so borrowed someone's 300 series ship and used the coffee machine on it to spawn an Aquila...works. Kinda broke the 300i I had borrowed though :D

Just as an aside...they've released another 3.8.1 minor point patch tonight....no new patch notes...or content... since the majority of fixes seem to be on the server side.

I don't have my other unupdated SC machine handy - but is it possible that this patch is a rollback?

Herd the lost flock to enlightenment, I beseech thee.

By the way, did JR die in the end? I can't remember.

Probably just getting rid of the red envelopes since the lunar new year thing is over.

Arent they all goons, brainwashed by the one and only Dark Lord himself ?

Well that explains the super expensive coffee machine they have at CIG now. They thought they could spawn a game from it!

Whole episode is kinda entertaining but at 1:33:00 the REAL fun begins...
The host is overly optimistic really, and misses the point about the staff doing no useful work. They are being directed at random assignments, and at re-doing everything over and over again to match "the vision" of Lord CR, or given paradoxical injunctions like trying to get the CE to cooperate with what they want to do in the PU... He also thinks that ToW will be "useful" for the PU...

NotSoSaltEMike keeps going as if CIG can still be given the benefits of the doubt.

Almost every of his videos go with the same scheme: I'm angry, but there's a micro sign of progress so that's good for the development, so everything is absolved I can get back to theorycraft and dream.

He's got his audience to think of though, and look how carefully he chooses his words. If he starts saying too much negative stuff he will lose his base and they will start calling him a hater and a FUDster.

In other news, looking forward to seeing CIG implement Sataball eventually!

Talking of unnecessary expenses, is their office SC door still operational? It’s been a few years, I could imagine it’s kinda stuck in open position/half open position :)
Hey @BenP, can you confirm magic (garage motor) SC door still functioning?
Ed: actually, I imagine it’s had a fair amount of money thrown at it to keep it working lol

Agree tho' I still find him&his podcast way more entertaining then Bored gamer(name said it all)Montoya or any of the other usual SC-shills......

So there is this interesting part from Mike's video where it highlights a bit from the CIG marketing mill.

"These NPCs, these living breathing people"

The artists are basically selling CR his own dreams.
To be fair, that's pretty standard for artists in any company - that's what artists do, they try and give a context so others can get a feel of how things would be.

I did like that video though - Mike manages to constantly look like he's about to lose it and rant about how the game is going - but manages to hold it in and move on :D
