If that's the case it would be great if the news organizations around the rest of world would make that clear. Media in America is determined to be as melodramatic as possible with no stories of recovery where it began.

The interview was on LBC a London radio station (also online) the same guy was interviewed at least twice (that I saw) on the BBC last night.

He's been through Corona virus, you get a cold recover, get the flu, recover then get pneumonia if you are really unlucky. He's bored and taught himself to cook and has run out of films to watch on netflix.

Coronavirus is also an excellent news for the planet.

As there is no longer overconsumption, overproduction and overpollution, the nitrogen dioxide and CO2 levels drop very significantly all over the world.

People travel less by car, plane, boat.

They buy less of the consumer goods produced in China and in low-cost countries.

They do a lot more telework at home.

Pollution rates drop 25/ 50% on the big cities.

Excellent ! Let’s hope that people will be smart enough to continue on this path.

You have a point there and shares are also affected ;)

So, they missed antarctica, the less populated greenland, and satans workshop. That is not a good article.

It's like they are trying to get people killed...

What on gods earth makes japan safe?! It's right next to china and is as overpopulated as them! It's a death trap!!!!!11

Well I have family in Malta and NZ, might be time for a vist.
Damn that would mean flying, jokes aside I was going to pop back to the Uk to see the family there this summer... Maybe not now.

Patrick clearly has no idea where his clothes, food, energy, roof over his head, vehicle, etc comes from.
I am fully aware of the origin of these products.

This is for this reason that the French Minister of Economy and his European counterparts are considering in the term to relocate on the national territories, the national industries and thus reduce the harmful effects of globalization, especially for unnecessary flows and transport.

Whether you like it or not, the nature and the climate will force you to moderate your frenzy of overconsumption, overproduction and overpollution.

It's not me who says it, this is the nature that crushes you with all its authority (viruses, climate change, depletion of resources).

On that note, I'd highly suggest wiping down all Amazon deliveries with an antibacterial sani-wipe while wearing latex gloves. Can't be too careful.
It is a good idea, especially because the coronavirus remains on the surface for a period of 9 hours.

Also do the same when you go to the supermarket because people touch all the products (fruits and vegetables too).

Best time to fly. My other half said she was one of sixteen people on the plane to Norway yesterday

True that. Flybe declared itself bankrupt due to Coronavirus so thats a load of domestic routes that wont be happening anymore. Tough on the 2500 staff but hey they should have picked a better job and tough on the people that relied on the routes but hey they will all have to use a car instead or get a job working in their local gift shop in Cornwall

A little wisdom and moderation can't hurt the big polluting consumers.

:)

ushima radiation of course.

Can someone please fix the crappy swear filter?
F.U.K.U.S.H.I.M.A. is not a swear word
For a country that produced monty python, benny hill, etc, this garbage swear filter boggles my mind.

No, you're not, Patrick. You're not going to understand the implications of the ideas you preach until the goods, services and products that you rely on quit altogether, and even then you won't understand why, you'll just know that you don't have them and are cold and starving and not grasp how that came to be.
