I'm a capitalist English pig! 😁 ;) I've always assumed the soviet thingy was some sort of persona (I still do tbh). I'd like to get to know a Russian properly. They can't be as stupid as the state they live in thinks.

I dont think even the biggest pessimist would have expected there to be panic buyers raiding the supermarkets in Belgium because of Brexit. :p Nah, Corona was the topic. I missed a dozen pages or thereabouts, was this topic about brexit at some point? I think we had another one for that.

Haha, no sorry. Brexit was a banned topic on these forums.

It might shock you but I know what it is a picture of ;) 😁

If I changed my profile picture to SpongeBob SquarePants and added a union Flag to it, it wouldn't really mean anything....

A French team on Tuesday said initial results from a 24-patient trial of hydroxychloroquine showed that 25% of patients given the drug still carried the coronavirus after six days, compared with 90% of patients given a placebo.

Have mentioned this medicine before. Looks more promising now.

There is always a big difference between the competence of elected officials and technical staff. It's disappointing to see so many countries round the globe where the problem is so bad that doctors consider it to be verging on criminal. And these are First World nations.

In the beginning, the POTUS had said that "It was all under control" and he had "confidence in the Chinese Authorities", which I quoted ( 🤭 )
- but now things have changed, haven't they?

Our political leaders are notorious incompetents not only in the field of epidemics but in many other sectors.

Sounds like Facebook b o l l o c k s, sorry.

N.P.
Just mark the name of the treatment down and see what happens later?
It's fine to be skeptical.

The underlying biochemistry supports it, but there are not enough published studies yet to be conclusive about the effects in humans. This hopefully will be the start.

HOCQ is one of the medicines I stocked at the onset of the outbreak in Wuhan, 3 months ago, based on the basic science. The others were ACE inhibitors and ARBs, in case there's interest. I have previously posted the details.

i want to know what the Germans are doing. The infection to death rate is totally different to everyone else?

can you when countries that’s are bankrupting themselves aren’t?

In case you missed it, he suggested this earlier and explained why. Obviously nothing is proven or guaranteed at this time, but there is reason to believe it might be useful. Which is why globally stocks are running out fast as countries have started putting in massive orders. If you think it is 'facebook b o l l o c k s' I would like to know why you think that.

Also been discussed earlier. In short: there are no guidelines as to what constitutes a COVID19 death, so different countries are labeling outcomes different. Also, some countries might spend more tests on 'diagnosis' the deceased whereas others use them differently. Finally, Germany has the highest number of ICU beds in Europe, so they have zero issues there.
