No. And I have ships I can sell for upgrades. OTOH, I've put off mining long enough I guessIf you have that much, do you have anything else pressing to spend it on?
You're assuming players without them will never land on them, or use the markets that are going to be on board.
For reaching previously unreachable places, the extra light years a Fleet Carrier has in jumprange is priceless.Why would an exploration-focused player give up 5bn for something that jumps only the same distance as 6 engineered Anaconda jumps or 7-8 on a good AspX? That's only a few minutes saved, even if buying the Carrier fuel was instantaneous.
5,000,000,000cr at launch....
That's way too much...
Only old players who used Robigo and others things like that could afford it
Reduce that to 2 000 000 000 and that would be good
What about piracy?Or benefit / be impacted by any of the features carriers may bring, regarding their main activities (mining, bounty hunting, exploration etc).
Fantastic news!
@Stephen Benedetti,
Q: 16 pads. Does that mean a max of 16 ships, or can it carry more than the number of pads?
What will happen to the LTD demand after this news?I never used Robigo, but can afford two. (LTD mining, try it.)
Do the Fleet Carriers come with toilet roll?
I think FC will be indestructible like capital ships are today.Wonder what the rebuy will be?
Me neither.I never used Robigo, but can afford two. (LTD mining, try it.)
Fold. I'm out.... it does sound like 5B Cr. is the base price, before options.
I hope so!
