I’d like more commanders in the Open

Oh, you talk about my squad mates. Rgr then 😜
Okay, if that's the case, then people don't deal with content they don't like. If you feel not enough people are playing, and not enough people are playing with you and your group, then you might wanna revisit the content being produced if popularity matters.

If popularity doesn't matter, then you have no issues because the number of participants shouldn't matter.

If you wanna just vent, then vent I guess.

I guess you don't do BGS manipulation either then?
A handful of stacks of 20 missions handed in for maximum inf+ can be very satisfying 👍
Esp. when the result of that work is a new system for your chosen faction to control. Flipped HIP 54362 just for a few screenshots a couple weeks ago. Loved it. XD

But it's okay to just like the sand. Thats the point I am making. Yes it could be more in depth. Yes it could be better. Yes they could add more meaningful content.

But they don't. And as a result what we are left with is the ships and the setting being the selling point of the game. And for alot of people that's enough. If it's not enough for you then I would understand, but that doesn't make other people wrong for thinking that it is.

Am I having a stroke or did I not just respond to this exact post on the previous page.....

And you are happy and require no additional content. You are not the focus of this discussion. Nothing frontier does will affect your gaming experience.

All good.

This is just a case of threads that goes ad infinitum round and round and round in the hamsterwheel.
All cases have been made, all arguments exchanged, the rest is just forum PvP

Nah, forum PvP actually has valid arguments. This is just embarrassing.

That's not how it works. Being content with the way things are is not the same as not wanting things to be better. Of course I would welcome more in-depth content. Of course I would like more stuff to do.

But that wasn't the question. The question was how I would sell this game to another person. And my answer was to show them the ships and the setting. Because for me that is what makes the game.

That really does it for you eh? Amazing.
...you DO realize, of course, the same flippant reaction can be applied to virtually any gameplay loop? I mean, hell, I got friends who say that about the whole GAME. "Wow, flying around in a fake galaxy doing the same things over and over really does it for you, eh? Amazing."

And you know what? It is! ^_^

If you don't get it, fine. If you don't wanna do it, great. If you even wanna complain about it, aces. But don't get upset if someone looks at you and says the same in response to the things YOU like.

Or do. I mean, sometimes people don't mind looking like hypocrites. Never understood that.

No, I did not say that.

But you're also not concerned about the entire playerbase. Just the section that enjoys the same things you do.
really? Where did I say that?
But if you want to go there, I do enjoy mining, bgs work and the various missions, PvE combat to include anti xeno, pvp combat and powerplay. Not the biggest fan of exploration, or at least long term exploration, but I’d love to see more impactful results come from the efforts of explorers.
So anyway, back to me being a big meanie who only wants in improvements in the things I enjoy and not for the entire game or player base at large right?

The selling is easy. Look at it. Sustaining is next to impossible unless you love outsmarting NPCs.

Meanwhile, I've been pirating (not killing) new players in Open, and we all seem to be enjoying ourselves.
What are your thoughts on a wisecracking gentleman pirate with a penchant for gentlemen's duels to shields down and a stash of brandy to leave behind as consolation prizes for the vanquished?

But you dont need to flyarojnd and do the same thing over an over. You just bend over and accept it because you dont think your opinion matter. Must have played Elite too long. Made you feel.pointles and alone.

Which is actually a good answer. And I appreciate the honesty
