Notice Fleet Carriers - Beta 2 - Commander State Notice

Hi all, sorry if has been said already, but, the save will happen the 30th at 8am (during the usual maitenance shutdown) or at 11:59pm? Thanks in advance. O7

Greetings Commanders! o7

On 30 April, we will be saving your game data to be used in the Fleet Carriers Update - Beta 2.

This means that whatever state your account is in, will be the state that we will use for Beta 2. So if you wanted to grab a few more credits, you've got a week to do it!

This will be a new save moment taken from the live game, so it will not carry over anything from Beta 1. As a reminder, any progression earned in betas does not carry over to the live game; what happens in beta, stays in beta.

We'll be sharing more details on Beta 2 soon, stay safe out there Commanders!
Can any devs help me at all I've put a ticket in 3 days ago then I accidently closed it opened another one now saying up to 5 days I've already haven't bin able to play at all for 6-7 days I'm getting fustrated

Is it true that I can still make bank during the beta? 🤑🏧, Edit: 29/4/20 - I think its time to post new info about Beta 2.

Actually, jumping on someone's FC and getting a ride out to a location for mining, exploring, and or battle opportunities IS exactly the value to newer less financially advanced players.
If players offer dedicated "on the clock" ferry services between Bubble and regions like Colonia or even Witchhead, that's something I would be interested in. I'd like to visit Colonia on my new PC account, but I really have no desire to fly there myself (once was enough).

So, have they said if the snapshot has been done yet?

Considering this is the first time (as far as I recall) that they've even told us when they're taking the snapshot to begin with, I'd be very surprised if they're going to post to confirm when it's been done.

I figured by now the snapshot happened. Just a shame there was no confirmation.

Yeah, it wouldn't have taken much to confirm & it's not like FDev didn't know lots of people were trying to cram in as much as they could.

But this is the first time we have had advance notification at all, so a 24h window is still way more accurate info than we have ever had before. That's still pretty good ;)

People are odd, they want to waste precious time on testing content which is then deleted after beta, so they do not gain anything, but loose a lot... nevertheless they are happy supporting a commercial company for free. Really odd, but ultimately it's their time not mine, so I don't really care...

1) You don't lose anything,
2) Why I do it ? simple answer, I don't want to login somewhere in june in a hugely broken game. Do you ?

This could be a great use of an FC, but how would the owner get paid for this service under the current model?

So many folks on this thread complaining about the Betas are clearly only familiar with the word from the "AAA" game industry's recent efforts at redefining it as the new word for "Demo".
It's not all about giving you the ability to play in a finished pre-launch build with all the new toys to decide if you are interested in them. A beta is about doing the regular stuff you'd do in the game, and seeing which things they managed to unexpectedly break when they added the new content!

The customer donates a load of Tritium or LTDs or some other appropriate commodity as agreed with the owner, teabagging becomes common again.
The flaw in that cmdr would be it only takes one freeloader who does not pay up as its voluntary, so what do you do then?
