Then I'll sign up to keep catching it. Actually, I've already signed up in a sense seeing as how I've continually kept the same schedule during the plandemic as before.

I'll avoid it thanks, I don't like to get sick. I work from home, so my routine didn't change at all really. Only how I did things outside the house.

Who knows (maybe 0.1%)? And we hoping things are on the mend. I assume the Government now has a pretty good plan on how to get onto it. Just like the SARS and MERS countries a few years ago.

Well, the obvious answer would be more quarantine then, wouldn't it? There's no reason (if you buy the orthodox narrative) that this would be going away anytime in the foreseeable future. And then the question boils down to: how long do you want to live that way? I'm married with kids and i can weather the economic storm far better than most, so i can assure you that most of my passion actually stems from concern for other people besides myself. Speaking purely for myself I face deadly consequences in a highly dangerous job not only on a daily basis but generally speaking most of the working day on any given working day, so taking my chances is not really something that I'm unused to in the first place.

Then do it! There is an urgent need for enough volunteers to accelerate the development of a vaccine against this virus.
Lolol. Yes...I'd definitely and literally rather be injected with the mucus from a covid patient who was radioactive with the virus then sign up for Bill Gates human experiments, but thanks anyway:)

Not really. The fallout from quarantine is quite severe and hits widely across the economy. Also, the more command and control is applied, the higher the chances people stop adhering to it. And monitoring and enforcing such rules become hard when the economy is tanking and there is just not the funds available to support such efforts.

What we have to do is learn to live the presence of the virus somehow. We manage with a range of other viral diseases, so here is one more to the bucket.

There are all manner of organizations both governmental and private sector who are running human trials on covid 19 vaccines not just Bill Gates perhaps you can pick one of those if you're eager to get the virus and who knows they might pin a shiny medal on you for doing your part.
How about I just live my life in a normal manner and if/when I catch it I donate my plasma to the cause? I'll take my immunization the organic way thank you very much. I plan to go into my take on the "rush to vaccinate" at a later date, so I'm going to save my best material for that.

It sounds like you're a very reasonable person and I like your attitude, even if we don't agree on all points:)

Wait... you really do believe in this Bill gates conspiracy? If so, I start to understand what kind of information sources your claims are based on. Wait a second, I'm pretty confident to find a proper proof of the existence of Sant Claus for you on youtube...
See, once again we have the "denigrate him and marginalize him" tactic. Really? What's so hard to believe, or even unreasonable, about being suspicious of some mega powerful multi billionaire who's dad was into eugenics and he himself is an advocate of population control being at the epicenter of a plan to not only rush produce a vaccine that's never been produced before, but ram it down the entire Earth's human population of around 8 billion people in record time? The real question shouldn't be why I'm skeptical but why you aren't.

Heck, this isn't me making stuff up, this from Bill Gate's own mouth. Anyone who even marginally follows what he does or says knows this, and it's hardly conspiracy theory.

Looks like he might be an anti-vaxxer too :(
I wasn't, but this whole thing has definitely turned me into a person who is faaaaaar more skeptical now then ever before.

So what about the windows thing? At this point I'm skeptical of all aspects of Big Tech and how they're shutting down free speech, but that's the whole point there, isn't it? Big Tech has the entire world population dependent on them and your alternative is to sit under a rock in front of a camp fire. It's hardly a good point that you're making there, and dare I say yet again a cheap marginalization tactic. Over and over again, nothing but digs, never a direct refutation.

Mainly, that's not entirely the issue, as Gates is not alone in the efforts to find a remedy or a vaccine. I reluctantly share your hesitance when it comes to developing a vaccine, though: Just like the flu vaccine, it may only effective against certain strains and only for some people. Also, with a rush job like that and while we don't completely understand the virus yet, I'm curious about what side-effects a rushed vaccine will have (if any). However, if the virus is as devastating as it appears to be, that may be one of those jump-first-think-about-landing-later scenarios.

Like I said, I'd take a shot of covid first, then I'm every bit as immune as something along the lines of a flu vaccine which tops out at a whopping 40% efficacy and usually is much much lower. Not really a good idea to pin our hopes of returning to normalcy on that, even if you like the idea of the vaccine in the first place.

Just hope then that you don't get the complications to lungs, heart, kidneys and/or brain that have been described already. Some people, even previously healthy ones, are left in quite a state after the infection has cleared.

Posted from a windows PC.

Microsoft is the only reprehensible thing I'm aware of Bill Gates being involved with.

At last count, there are nearly a hundred SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in the work by dozens of different groups. I'm fairly optimistic about one or more of them being safe and substantially effective. Still, wouldn't bet on anything mainstream for at least a year. Herd immunity may take even longer. Long term immunity in either case is still in doubt.

What percentage of your population caught this and what are you going to do when it starts going through your previously un-infected biomass anew?
As of now 3/7 states in Australia have 0 active cases of the virus. The state I'm in has only 3. Once that's gone I don't expect to get the virus at all unless someone brings it in from a plague country.

Lots of countries are effectively controlling the virus, including Vietnam a undeveloped socialist government with a land border with China. Really, if they can do it, does anyone have any excuse to fail?

Surely this guy would agree.
Alexander-Litvinenko-009.jpg

Ok, ok I can't drop it like that without context, he is Alexander Litvinenko, a British spy who was murdered by polonium 210 poisoning. The deadly dose is so small it is literally impossible to see it with your own eyes. Point is, ingesting or being injected with radioactive material is really dangerous, orders of magnitude more so than simple external exposition.

During WHA73, as well as in their latest press briefing yesterday, WHO was - amongst other things - very busy with getting broad international support for developing of treatment(s)/vaccines . WHO has made it VERY clear that there will be NO shortcuts in terms of safety and/or efficacy of either , So, there basically is a choice to be made for everyone : do you support the profit driven "lets get it out as fast as we can" approach favoured by some government(s) - just as has been done with the mostly useless anitbody tests a few weeks ago, which then flooded markets and enriched a few people - or do you suport the WHO approach, which is based on broad international support by around 140+ Countries, funding by several means, and equal and fair availability and distribution to everyone ( as much as that is possible ) - which is funnily believed by many to be driven solely by the desire of ONE person to enrich themselves and enslave humanity.

And indeed, there are over 140 Vaccine candidades in development known to WHO, and they think there may well be more in development on the planet .

On a sidenote, WHO's budget these days is about 2.3 billion$/year, which is NOT much at all . In addition to that, the %age of funding provided by the flexible payments by the memberstates has declined from 80% in the 70/80s to around 20% these days . WHO is, through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN, FORCED to look for alternative funding sources to be able to deliver the services they are mandated to . And they are doing this in the wake of the transformation of WHO, which Dr.Tedros has initiated and is the responsible main driving person behind since he became DG in 2016 . That shows another interesting fact : WHO does not need any single politician to try and force them to change...they ARE changing, out of their OWN understanding and efforts, for YEARS...and they ARE getting better .

In Light of all of the above, it is clear how rather absurd it is to believe ONE person drives the Vaccination effort . It is SO Funny to me that people use Mr. Gate'S "I want to vaccinate everyone" as basis for a rather misanthropic conspiracy theory . They just can NOT get it in their heads - and that in fact says a LOT about THEIR thinking - that a person can be saying this simply because they believe it is a good thing .

And funnily, every time WHO's budget funding becomes a bit more uncertain for whatever reason, WHO's NEED for private or coroporate donors/funding becomes greater.

IF some people were just able to get their manic fixation OFF the current situation, they would be able to see that coordinating the global effort to combat the Pandemic/supporting countries in need during these times is actually only ONE of a LOT of Programmes WHO is busy with, and needs money for . In fact, WHO has had several fund raising rounds and events in the past months to be able to do Pandemic work, doing what they need to not be forced touching their next biannual budget for this stuff...because THAT following budget is largely already allocated to the ongoing Programmes and Services who need to continue besides the Pandemic . But nope, Pandemic comes around, and "Hey! That explains EVERYTHING!" .

Very convenient, no ?

A shame that their great efforts at controlling the disease will not help them control the impact on their economy of everyone else getting it. Same here in NZ, we have had no new cases for 4 days and only a single person still hospitalised. But this is going to cost us...

You are a few weeks behind the curve . By now, it has been shown and seen that the Strategy formulated by WHO from the beginning ( I did not get that right months ago, I was convinced containment was not possible...) - which is containment and supression of the Virus - is doable . IF a country is able to hammer daily new infections down sufficiently, AND has the required tools in place, AND is not shy to keep on with required measures as needed, AND can do that pretty granular ( as is needed on very local level ), it is possible to contain/supress the Virus . If a country is able to do that, it does not really need a lot of people suffer through an infection to become immune . Best way also to minimize economical impact .

Makes sense to me . Why risk people's health and lives when it is possible to simply supress, almost stop the Virus, simply minimize the risk for people to get infected very much ? What the World needs is time -> to find/develop working treatment, and vaccines . The World can go about doing this without having to bury a huge pile of bodies and a bigger number of people having to suffer the effects of SARS - CoV -2 infection after surviving it .
