No mention of atmospheres in that at all. Those will be the paid expansion after this most likely. Tons more development work. Also did you guys just confirm atmospheric landings here?:
See the galaxy like never before. Touch down on breathtaking planets powered by stunning new tech, soak in suns rising over unforgettable vistas, discover outposts and settlements, and explore with unrestricted freedom.
Lets just wait for the official response. There's no blue skies - or any other colour - in game currently like the trailer, or the impressive banner in the steam page. There's mist in low levels, but no light scattering in an atmosphere.
So I would say ... yes. Probably a limited number of types, but still.
But we can see stars in daytime so there isn't much of an atmosphere on that planet.

You won't be forced to play the FPS gameplay anymore than you're forced to enter a haz res if you don't like spaceship combat, or any other part of the game for that matter.I bought a space fighter, not a First Person Shooter. I don't buy First Person Shooters (at least not multiplayer ones, I like Narrative ones like Bioshock and Half-Life). I never wanted this, but I fear they try to force it like they did with Engineering and that's game end for me, I won't do it.
You don't read well, do you? Then don't land on planets or walk around.
If done as past updates you will benefit from a lot of improvements even if you don't walk about.
Win-win.
I will also get it (I hope, LEPer and all that). This will improve the game no end and definitely something I will get when its released![]()
