It's time to disembark, Commander.
I already did.
It's time to disembark, Commander.
Not in Elite, but I have in a multiple other games.I've not yet landed on a planet with a blue sky. Anyone?
You will be able to build or buy bases/components. Like in the teaser trailer it has a single large landing pad, which undoubtedly descends into at least a small outpost below the surface. Imagine this as the initial "player base". If they were introducing animals and plants in a big way (bigger than currently in Horizons), we probably would have seen that in the trailer. There's a way to make it a whole lot easier. In a realistic universe, "living" planets are logically going to be few in number. If there's indeed base building, simply make it possible to make player "habitats" that you can then collect flora and fauna from a living planet to keep in your habitat. So you only need a dozen or so different planets to have all the habitat customization on "dead" worlds you'd ever need.
We've always asked for 'Atmospheric' Planets, trouble is we never stated how thick! But we can see stars in daytime so there isn't much of an atmosphere on that planet.
And it will have a randomized number of slots and you can buy another different rng'd one at every starport?I bet those guns are actually mining lasers
It has no wings!!!
Muh immurshon!!!
And will we get a Cobra MkIV for it? Gnihihi....Can we pre-order yet?..............................![]()
I also will be upset if there is no VR support, but I can live without it if the update is good.I see the Steam store page for Odyssey does NOT include VR, as all other pc versions of Elite do. Looks like they get no more money from me.
Just ensure you have had nothing to eat before entering NMS in VR... (although it does appear to have gotten smoother since they made PCVR the same quality as PSVR!)If there is no VR support I'm off today. Hello No Man's Sky!
Very excited for this!
My two biggest questions:
- Is there VR support for this expansion?
