Well currently the only layout is two columns of 4 large pads each which are flanked by a column of 2 medium pads topped by 2 small pads side by side, this layout is surrounded by the different cosmetics.

Yes I understand that, I was refering to the variant 'Layouts' as described for the cosmetics on the FD store - Fortune; Victory and Nautilus and whatever the base is you get by default - the choice of 'Layout' at initial purchase would have been nice.

And now I can perfectly imagine some reactions when they will release new kits later this year, and some players will buy kits again ... I already few times during beta mentioned that it's very likely that different look of FCs will be made through the store .

Yeah total slap in the face. Its definitely underhanded and not praiseworthy.

But having just one with outfitting is probably better in practice.

If anyone can think of what the old support ships would actually do instead of just filling in a blank spot on the carrier ui then it would be worse. I can't
