Update Scheduled downtime and Maintenance - 17/06/2020

i gues there will be a nerv in ltd´s, i hope not but (should only nerv the subsurface a bit), it seems clearly too mutch money you can easy make a bill profit. We will see all other things not a 4% as profitable.

I hope that you can see your carrier every time on nav pannel makes no sense if you put of carriers you cant even see your own. Tiny thing big quality of life

Y'all seem to forget what an absolute pain the engineer unlocking grind is, then there's farming materials grind to actually get engineering done,
Not really ... I use fighter bay + collector limpets. While pilot deals pirate, I collect stuff from previous one.
So I grinded Dave's really hard for the 1st my ship. And did 2 visits to Anaconda crash for data. Everything else is full during just gaming.

It would be nice to see the values adjust more between different mining resources. I get that mining is a "gold mine", but it should require a bit more thought and hunting to find good spots for what "hot" price wise at that time.

When you get to "end game" and run out of stuff to do, then these things are on your to-do list. I'm Elite in trade and explore, so need trip-Elite. Then there's a road trip to Colonia in my FC, to also unlock the remaining Engineers. Then sweep up the remaining Guardian blueprints.
What "End-game"?
I have around 3,000 hours played on my 1st account and still have barely scratched the surface of what can be done :) The other 2 accounts have around 1,500 hours between them (with this one having the least) so still plenty to do yet.

No disrespect to you, (I find many different things to be of interest so have a 'to-do' list on all 3 accounts that gets longer rather than shorter!) as we all pay 'our' game - Colonia is a great pace to go, as are the Guardian / Thargoid bases.

I don't have a FC yet... Maybe in a couple of months on 1 account :)

If you're in the same system as your carrier, your carrier should be at the top of the nav list, regardless of filter. This is how they need to do it IMO

Grind to elite in combat?
...doesn't exist - unless self-inflicted :)
I'll get there eventually on all 3 of my accounts, but won't be 'grinding' any time soon!

Issue with combat is not the Elite grind but the money, I've been playing this game since 2016 and going by my stats I've defeated 5,800 ships which has netted me around 250 million credits.

That's around 43,000 a ship 'on average' which is really poor and kills the motivation for any rank grind because you could be doing any of the other activities in game and earn more money for ships and such.

If the update is, as was mentioned earlier, a full rehash/release of the FC update, and not just a patch, does this mean that the servers will be down for 8 hours (or however long it was) again?

Oh well, I have a bench to sand down anyway. Looks for a bit of sandpaper

Why are people clamoring for patch notes? The OP said that the notes will be out post-update. At the moment, all we can do is hope for our personal wishlist of patches/fixes. I'm personally gunning for more Tritium mining efficiency for those of use who want to use carriers for deep-space shenanigans halfway across the galaxy :)

Did you read the first post? It says hour downtime.

I'm pretty sure the one who posted that was being a 'bit' salty.

Need to find a station with a anarchy systems near it, they always have pirate problems and will usually have massacre mission. 2 missions from the same faction dont stack, but you can get 1 mission from each faction and have the kills stack. I've earned most of my credits that way since mining makes me want to bash my brains out on the control panel. So far think with massacre mission stacking like that I've earned like... 10-13 billion credits, usually about 1bill ever week since I figured out how to stack them and really wanted to grind for an FC plus credits needed to make it a mineral trade outpost.
