Fleet Carrier Projection Costs

So my projection costs keeps going up and up and I can't see what's causing it to go up. Is there any indepth information out there regarding how the upkeep costs are calculated? I can't seem to find anything about the projection costs.

Thanks.

Yes, I know about the service costs and the jump costs, those are "Accrued Costs" and "Hull Maintenance", what I'm talking about is "Projected Costs" which atm is higher than any other cost.

Or if the services are under "Projected Costs" what are the "Accrued Costs"?

Ok so this is wierd, I suspended a few services, and both "Accrued" and "Projected" dropped by 1mill and 4mill respectively

I started to think that the projected costs slowly go to accrued costs the long services are active, but when I suspended some services the accrued cost went down aswell so now I'm back to square one 😂

Can we have an answer to that? My projected Costs went up from 21 to stunning 45% and are now almost as high as the base upkeep. What determines this cost? Wear and Tear have a different section so jumps are not the Dealbreaker here.

Just keep watching through the week - eventually you may understand

At the start of the week, your Projected Cost is the estimated cost of the services you're using, assuming you will continue to use them at the same rate until the end of the week.

As the week progresses, Projected costs become Accrued costs.

If you change your upkeep rate by suspending or rectivating services, your Projected costs will change accordingly. And for services that you pay to use (such as refuel/repair/rearm), there also seems to be a small tmporary boost to the projected cost (perhaps based on the assumption that you will continue to do that throughout the rest of the week).

To save money, you should suspend services you're not using. However, as this makes them unusable for any visitors you might have while you're logged off, this might not be appropriate if you're trying to provide a service to others.

Now THAT is a detailed explanation. I wish i could throw more likes at you.

Its because they leave those huge great searchlights on. If I am not there turn them off. Nobody else can land anyway. That and the constant problems with landing bay 8.

So my 2nd or third post in the thread I said this was how I assumed it was working, but it doesn't explain why my accrued costs went down when I disabled services, only projection costs should decrease right?

I have no interest in disabling services or saving money and I know how the carriers work regarding people using them, I am just curious how the costs are calculated because I just wanna know 🤷‍♂️

Thank you for the detailed reply though sir, much appreciated.
