News again from the Nebula. Lots of things happened since the last update (Previous update).
It’s been a time of growth for Loren’s Reapers as we welcomed new members and we established the Loren’s Reapers PS4 squadron. This has brought a wealth of new knowledge and enthusiasm to the nebula and has also resulted in additional help with the leveling up of the engineers along with other players making the trek from the bubble with new mats almost on a weekly basis. The modifications offered now rivals the bubble and whilst we have to thank everyone for the team effort that has gone into this, the tireless work done by CMDR yianniv stands above all others. In recognition of this we have no hesitation in requesting a commemorative beacon for CMDR yianniv at one of the engineer bases.
With the carrier update looming the Reapers made preparations to expand on their mission to provide unique services to Colonia. A few days after the update Colonia’s own PvP hub and open community meeting place was established in Eol Prou ZO-U b18-25. A carrier provided by a member of the squadron is permanently anchored at the 5th planet- a gas giant with beautiful dense icy rings. The carrier can be used as a base/respawn for PvP training or material gathering as the system has some of the best spots for all surface mineable raw materials. All are welcome at the carrier, regardless how of any past dealings with the Reapers may have been, to take advantage of it.
The long awaited update not only brought new toys but also a BGS shakeup for everybody. Many factions have been impacted and the Nameless were not immune to this. The faction was retreated from the icy and unfriendly Coeus system, but found a new home among friendly factions in the beautiful Santos Dumont. With carriers bringing and returning daily new visitors from the bubble to the Nebula it has become a tourist hotspot as never seen before. Helping out people to unlock the engineers and just showing people around Colonia became one of the more enjoyable activities since then.
However not all is well in the Nebula. Since the beginning of 3306, one of the biggest squadrons, Societas Eruditorum de Civitas Dei (CIDE), started attacking the Nameless and the Reapers. Recent acts by CIDE undermining the Jaques Accords, which they claim to uphold, by the installation of foreign powers in the home systems of other player factions show their desire to ensure the region meets their design before anything else. A design which apparently does not include an anarchist faction, despite the benefits a varied and multifaceted nebula brings. Even outnumbered more than 4 to 1 the Reapers haven’t given up and have met the constant attacks with equal force. Not only have they protected The Nameless holdings but have countered by forcing CIDE into 3 control wars in their own systems. However the risk to the region is still there; the loss of the free systems of Carcosa and Earth Expeditionary Fleet to be placed under puppet governments of the region’s dictatorship will not only result in the 8 superpower ships be lost to the nebula but also the chance to study the possible relationship between the Nameless and the Dark Wheel.

We will work tirelessly to prevent this from happening and keep Carcosa free for everybody to enjoy and explore its mysteries. But don’t fear, even in the darkest hour Loren’s Reapers will not abandon Colonia and will keep working for a nebula friendly to all, not only a playground for the powerful. This is the Reapers’ way.
