Any compensation incoming for non-exploiters?

I have a habit of rounding up for caution. XD

Point still being you can make a year of upkeep in about half a day of playing.
(It wasn't meant as confrontational, truly!)

I'm not actually sure (only friends with a FC as I'm still a few billion away from buying) but I think with most facilities enabled it is in the region of 0.6-0.7 billion per year but my attention on the 'details' is still sketchy.

But, you are absolutely correct, a few hours of Egg-sploiting asteroids will certainly pay upkeep for a very long time (y)

1 year's worth of fleet carrier upkeep is roughly 6 - 7 billion. Current exploit is roughly half a billion an hour. So, roughly 12 - 14 hours of mining the exploit nets you about a year of no upkeep.

Way way out! . My Fleet Carrier has all but two services, weekly upkeep excluding jump costs is 22m, this week my bill was 25m with at least 4 jumps a day. A fully tricked out FC is about 27m a week, say you do a fair few jumps too a week, call it 30m week. 30m x 52 = 1.56b a year. 7B is enough for a 4 1/2 years, fully tricked out an used a lot.

So current exploit is 3 hrs for a max years FC upkeep.

Well, damn. I was way off. My bad. Based my math on the picture they have in the codex for fc upkeep and it showed around 80mil with about half the services.

Thanks for dropping in to correct us :)
(I was way out too!)

I have discovered I like mining, so I do it - but no eggsploits. I already have my reward for not indulging in the cheese-whiz. I know I didn't do it, that all my credits were gained legitimately, that I have NEVER used anything smelling even faintly of an exploit since the game was in beta.

You imperials can bask in your leaders greatness as much as you want. I'll bask in my own smugness instead. It gives me a better tan and doesn't cause skin cancer.

Thanks everyone for getting to the bottom of it! Now I've just rembered it needs to be fuelled too, so will think about that.

5500hrs, King, Admiral, 3ple Elite, Founder of Formidine rift beacon and planet, Founder of Thargoid crash site #2, 13 ships fully engineered. Thats for "doing nothing".....
What have you done? Bought a fleet carrier in 3 days? :)
There must be articles about you in your local newspaper. What achievements.
Even if it has nothing to do with anything.

Let's recap. You're asking to compensated for not using an exploit.
"Those guys got credits because they used an exploit. I want to get something too, but I'm not using exploits. I'm too good for that. But now I feel left behind..."
You either consider something an exploit and want it removed, along with rewards, or you're ok with it.
You seem to be ok with rewards, but you feel too proud and elitist to actually use the exploit, so you want to be "compensated".
That's moronic.

I have no wish to be compensated for something I really had no interest in doing, and in truth am not particularly bothered by those using the 'exploit' to get their billions - should Frontier 'slap their wrists' I admit I'll probably chuckle a little, otherwise I hope that they are happy and benefit from their labours.

Me, I'll get my own Fleet Carrier sooner or later, I'm in no great rush :)
(Although if anyone wishes to donate, say, 5 billion, to a poor & destitute CMDR I'm not too proud to refuse 🤷‍♂️)

I don't think this should be considered at all, just for not using an exploit? Come on.... I didn't use any of the previous ones before, (and there were quite a bit) should I just apply for them aswell? Of course not, the true reward comes in the form of fun time while playing, and in that I have trillions worth of credits.
On the other hand, if you wanted to buy a FC, that eggsploitation was the quickest way I remember since launch maybe.
I used the exploit, I admit it. I had 12bi before buying my FC, now I have 10bi-ish so I just made like 3bi in there and couldn't take any more of that mind numbing profession with that system chat buzzing with absolutely crappy noise at best.
So yeah, I don't think frontier are gonna give anyone any free credits, maybe Arx's would be best, just make a lot pinata of Arx's and give them to all of us, 🤔yeah I think that would be it.... in that case, sign me up.:ROFLMAO:

Denneb did actually make a good point more recently, though, when he mentioned potential credit inflation. It wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for Frontier to inflate the credit cost of future content to compensate. I don't know your gameplay style or what interests you, but that very much could affect you down the road.

I used the exploit,

I don't have a 'particular' playstyle, apart from whatever I do earns a steady stream of credits - even though in comparison to the exploited billions it is just pocket change - so finances ships, modules, the odd rebuy... Usual stuff :)

My main account left the bubble for Colonia today, has around 50 million in courier data to deliver, will probably pick up another 60 or so million in exploration data, about 10 more in blowing up the hired kilers I expect to meet from the missions, and probably another 5 from time bounuses - piddly little sums granted, but all earned 'for nothing' as I needed to go that way anyway :)

If Frontier price me 'out of the market' because of the exploited billions, I simply hang up my CMDR hat and wish the game 'so long', I'll have had 3 good years minimum (y)

Remember that fertiliser exploit, ppl lost their ill gained cr after fdev came along with the nope hammer. I hope they do the same here, an exploit is an exploit, just because they failed the fix it doesn't make it ok to do it.
